you can have a battery and a charger connected with all times ....this is as simple as your home inverter. .....or you can pick 2 negative and positive wires from your home inverter battery and connect to your Car amp this a simple form of the same setup.

its depends on where you exactly play it...normally car woofers are 4 OMHS rated and designed to work on small space and with very low input power supply (12V- upconvert by inbuilt DC to DC upconverter) ...hence the enclosure we normally use in car will not though the same thump in home. You need to redesign it ....best of luck :)

not that loud infact the low are not as audible as normal home theater from outside your home....until you well placed your subwoofer (like behind the bed or deep inside you living room) ..becoz car amp has high input sense and if you want to make to loud you need to connect a pre amp or a mixer.......yes there is a solution to make this setup more like other home theater is just add a DSP ...otherwise you will here more mid instead of low ...this is nothing but its design....best of luck
