  • A video for those who are interested in learning about the Algowatcher, a Telegram bot that can be used alert users on the overall health of their sensor streams. No additional software, or programming skills needed.
    Step-by-step guide if you'd like to go along. Enjoy!
    ************************* *07/13/21 UPDATE *************************
    Please be advised that type 4 sensors JUST got updated today to transmit sensor data in 'chunks' to the blockchain every 10 minutes - rewards UNAFFECTED. Thus, it may be best to configure the time period on the bot to alert every ~11 minutes in lieu of every 2 minutes if a transaction is missed.

    Hey nice video, great tool! It is my understanding the t4 atmotube sends the data streams every hour now so would I change the interval period to 60 minutes with per interval being 1 or does that not work?

    Thanks for this very informative tutorial. Is there anything we have to do prior to adding your wallet? I added multiple wallets and get an “Error getting balance for Account” message. What can I do to fix this?

    8:30 Can you use two atmotubes with one wallet, and would you be notified by one device going offline?

    • @youngmaverick542
      @youngmaverick542  Před 2 lety

      Hi! Yes, you can tie two Atmotube Pros into one account but you'd have to open a ticket to request that. The second question is a interesting one! I've never tried that since I have separate emails thus different algo wallet addresses. But I encourage you to try hopping on the Algobot and PlanetWatchTelegram to ask around for the question, the community is super helpful 👍

    I just purchased a Type1 and Type4 license, including 1 Awair at Amazon.
    Do you happen to know when are the Type1 sensor coming out?

      Hi there! No, unfortunately no eta yet for the U.S but the good news is that they got the required certification so it's coming..soon.. Not Nebra soon, but soon :) great choice on the Awair btw!

    How did you get your sensor to stay with a 2 minute interval? Mine have gone from 5 minutes to 2 minutes and now at 10 minutes

    So how do I lower the transaction time between them, mine is 10 minutes in between not 2 or 3. Used to be 5 minutes in between. it's been about 24 hours since I installed everything. Only have planetwatch app on the background running.

    Hi I have a question, I checked the white paper, but I'm not 100% sure. If i had 3 type 4 sensors and each would be 200 meters from another, can all of them earn maximum reward?

    • @youngmaverick542
      @youngmaverick542  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi!
      As long as they're not all stationary in the same residence, my understanding is that it is permitted. Even if they are in the same residence, they would allow one to be taken to work most of the day, while the other is at home. The only caveat is, you'd need one phone per sensor at the moment since the app needs to be running to collect sensor and GPS data via Bluetooth, as well as publishing it to the Algorand Blockchain via internet.
      In response to your initial question about the maximum earning given the distances. For me, I need to have all the ideal conditions, such as providing proper gps, stable internet connection, and reliable phone that wouldn't cause the app to crash or interfere with it's data collection and publishing operation. For the most part, my average earning is roughly about 20 PLANETS per day (out of 23.04 max), so I'd consider that a success. Sorry, I didn't answer directly because they're few factors that can influence your potential to earn max, if not carefully considered. Hope this helps :)

      @@youngmaverick542 That's a great answer. Thanks for you help

    • @greggalexander5663
      @greggalexander5663 Před 2 lety +1

      My understanding is that you can have 1 of each type (type 1, 2, 3, & 4) at the same location since they measure different things. Two of the same type are not allowed since the data is redundant. They use algorithms and will detect sensors that are not in compliance.

    • @youngmaverick542
      @youngmaverick542  Před 2 lety +1

      @@greggalexander5663 Sounds right :) They're a little lenient to allow two type 4s in the same residence, as long as one is being taken to work while the other one sits at home to better encourage sensor data diversity of the same type.

    • @greggalexander5663
      @greggalexander5663 Před 2 lety

      @@youngmaverick542 Absolutely correct. I set up 2 type 4 Atmotubes. I keep one stationary in the house and the other is mobile. I bought a $29 LG Journey Tracfone with a $15 30 day plan. I take that on my daily travels by foot and car. Since the data is not redundant it is allowed. Just up for a few days. Stationary one only got 9 planets today so I am still figuring out how to maximize rewards. I think I will leave phone & sensor charging 20 hours a day for now and then adjust charging schedule downward.

    Hey man, subscribed recently and noticed you're all about passive income, there's a new token I heard about called BulleX, apparently it pays out in BNB while holding, looks like it could be a good opportunity for passive income, any chance you can make a video about it?
