You two actually bring a happiness to my wife and myself, we watch your videos and y'all fullfil a little part of the dreams of places we would love to be able to go, ever since park Vista opened my wife has asked to stay there and I always have to say, maybe one day we will be able to I'm going to fight this Parkinson's with all I got and hold out in a few days meds and I will eventually take her. But thanks to you guys showing us what it's like visually.. be blessed and don't feed the bear's.

We stayed there about 25 years ago and loved it ! I donât remember a water slide, but we loved the pool ! This video has made me want to stay there again ! We always stay at the Hampton in Sieverville now. They have a really big, warm indoor pool.
Wow! I still remember the video of that Hotel with everything around it on Fire. That's amazing that Hotel survived all that.
My wife and I have stayed at the Park Vista quite a few times. We love the beds, however parking can be challenging when busy. We also agree regarding the balconies. Very relaxing sitting around outside at night near the fire if you are able to get a seat, which only twice were we unable to sit there during a couple stays. My wife and I have been together 42 years so I hope you two have at least that many years and more together. Happy Anniversary Dawn and Will.

I hope y'all had a very Happy Anniversary! My Mom always enjoyed staying at the Park Vista. We would eat breakfast buffet there and then head down to Gatlinburg. They use to have a hotel shuttle that would take you to the civic center drop off and pick up. We would always be so tired and would take our last energy to get up the hill to the shuttle stop. It was just by the civic center but we would always walk all day and have a great time.

There was a bear in the parking garage next to our hotel last week. We stayed at the Hampton for 3 day's then spent the last night in the "Rocky Top" room. Did not want to leave Gatlinburg. Thank you for the videos, it takes me back everyday. Happy Anniversary!!!!

Wow, the Hotel was very beautiful . The Assesouars was amazing.The Beds was big, love it. So many Things to give them. So much Coffe and Tea. Cookies. This is great. Love the Baths too. Enjoy it. Have a wonderful time.

I have always wondered what that place looked like inside. I have walked all around it but never been inside. The pool area looked wonderful. I enjoyed seeing this very much.

It looks like you enjoyed the pool đ My husband and I have been there a few times. I agree with Dawn on the balconies, and even if there were chairs, you canât enjoy the view because the concrete wall blocks it. The only time the blacony worked out well was watching the fireworks. The restaurant is a little pricey, but the breakfast is a much better deal. Please be prepared to pay close to $30 for two people per day, if you eat breafast at the restaurant. Itâs not included in your stay. There are no microwaves in the rooms, thatâs the reason you saw one in the hall. They really promote eating at the hotel restaurant, which can add up quick. You have to pay extra for the internet, unless you are a Hilton Honors member. I had to share, because I was shocked the first time. The cookies đȘ are amazing!!! Remember to grab a couple for the road when you check out.

The pool, OMG, I loved the water slide. Will and Dawn, you are crazy for wanting to go down it, ROFL! You had a nice dinner. The pork chops looked awesome. Iâm sorry that Dawn wasnât crazy about her steak. Watching the sun come up the next morning was breathtaking. The Park Vista was a great hotel to stay in. đđ

I stayed there once when I was like 2 or 3. All I know was that I wasnât even 5 yet, and I was born in 2002 (celebrated my 18th in May) I distinctly remember loving this place! Or more accurately, I loved the revolving doors XD

Happy Anniversary! Thanks for the reviews on places to stay. One thing that I have noticed is it is hard to find rooms with what I call easy chairs or any recliners, I have back issues and it is hard for me to lay down all night I have to sit up some and straight back chairs are way to uncomfortable to sit in for long. The walk in shower was great especially for handicapped people.

We stayed there in 2012 I believe. Got to be on the top floor overlooking Gatlinburg direction. Really unique and cool place. Also a little late but Happy Anniversary.
Happy 10th to you both!!! I have a brochure about the Vista from the time we were planning our anniversary vacation in the 1980's. We didn't stay there though. We stayed at another hotel that had a small wedding chapel behind it. We stayed several days at the hotel and I would go out on the patio walkway to see if anyone had gotten married, but no one ever did when we stayed there. There was a trolley stop in the parking lot of the hotel too, so we didn't have to walk a lot to get on the trolley. I grew up calling the toilet a commode too. I always thought a "toilet" was in a roadside park or outhouse and "commode" was in the house or hotel. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Happy anniversary Will and Dawn. Your videos the last week have been great. I'm not sure if you remember me telling you we live in Louisiana. We thought we were getting 2 storms. We live on the northshore of Lake Pontchartrain. We left and came up to the smokies. My husband said he thought he saw yall heading into the park one day. We went through Katrina so we didn't want to be caught up in that. Lucky for us, it went more west. Unlucky for them. We had a good time last week. We love your home. I have been going since I was a child.

happy anaversary,, don t know how old yall are but back in the late 80s the shilon motel was just $16.00 a night granny kitchen was the place to eat,and serville was like a one red light town. fun city was the place and only. and going to look at plates in a store was a big deal..have a nice week.

On new years eve 1981 going to 1982 my parents and I went to a new years eve party thare with country star TG Sheppard. We didn't get stay thare as it was booked so we stayed at Glen stone Lodge down on Airport Rd. It was nice with fancy room indoor pool. Made up for not getting stay at Park vista. I remember being terrified comming back down curvy road from hotel to airport Rd. Just as scary to me as ski mt road. Wish you'd do trip up ski mt road to heidleburg castle (if it's still called that at ober gat.) And drive down from Park vista to airport road. We lived in pigeon forge col yrs back 83-86 in apt pass old mill going toward Dollywood right before koa campground. On corner right before koa if go not toward parkway or dw, theirs road middle creek I think that is about 5-8 mile stretch that goes of to Sevierville. I wish you do all those roads I listed. Bring back good memories. I can see how big it's got.

I like a room with a table and chairs, we eat in our room a lot, we usually just eat out once a day and then snack or make sandwiches in the room

We've always wondered what Park Vista looked like inside; thanks for showing us! We've been as far as the parking lot several times, and even saw one of our first black bears up there. I remember watching the CZcams videos of guests inside the lobby during the wildfires...pretty scary stuff. Happy Anniversary Will and Dawn! Great review of Park Vista. I happened across some not too kind reviews of Park Vista awhile back. Their rooms had not been renovated and they were not happy with their stay. So happy to see this positive review from the two of you. I love those wonderful view. The first thing I noticed that there weren't any chairs on the balcony but it was way too narrow for chairs. Your room was so nice. I loved the shower in the bathroom. The Crabtree and Evelyn products are high end amenities. Sorry that your steak wasn't any good Dawn. At least y'all have plans for another anniversary celebration. Dawn gave me a good laugh when she thought that wasn't such a thing as air conditioning back in 1976. There sure was and there was air conditioning in the 50's and 60's. That is as far back as I can go, lol.

You know you guys are giving me other options for hotels. This place looks amazing. The view is fantastic. I agree with Dawn chairs on the little balcony would be great. Maybe they removed them so there would be less to clean for covid. Happy anniversary and hope you have many more. Ten years, now you only have almost 40 years to catch up with us. Happy anniversary! Dawn you always look nice but you were *GLOWING* in this video! The cookie part had me laughing. Great camerawork showing the atrium! I liked when yâall showed if the mattress was spring or foam. Thatâs so helpful!! Really loved going down the water slides with yâall! Can yâall show around the desk area if there is a place to hook up an Ethernet cord? Some hotels will have Ethernet slots located on the desk lamps or on the wall by the desk. Some donât. Iâm always work-minded and I have to have an Ethernet connection. Itâs always the first thing I look for in a hotel/cabin. I would like to see if I could take my work with me when Iâm traveling đ if yâall canât check next time, donât worry about it. Just thought itâd be good for us work travelers đ but keep the videos coming! Yâall just make my day so much brighter. Canât thank you both enough for all you do!

My hubs and I were married at the Little Log Chapel out 321 in Gatlinburg in 1995. Unfortunately itâs been torn downđą
Johnâs family owned a log cabin on Roaring Fork that his aunt built in 1932. Thatâs where we always used to stay when we came down. Unfortunately it burned down in the infamous fire a few years agođą
His aunt also owned what used to be called cottage motels there on 321.
We have lots of history tied to the area.
I have mixed feeling about the Park Vista. Itâs got amazing views, but I think itâs a blight on the beautiful park.

My daughter had teachers keep reminding her to use descriptive words in her presentations, and she improved so much and it drew the listeners in
