I've always felt that Tex was a big influence on Mad Magazine's Don Martin. Martin would have been a hell of a good animation writer/director. And Preston Blair's Red is the sexiest girl to ever grace animation.

Tex Avery did a lot of things that most people wouldn't dare say in public. Mostly it seemed that Tex Avery was not much of a woman admirer. Didn't believe women should be head of households or drive cars. And it seemed through some of his cartoons he had a dislike for his Mother in Law. But as we all know...today's generation loves their Mother in law more than their actual mothers
