The conclusion of the best of the Tommy Cooper interview.
Tommy Cooper demonstrates some of his magic tricks. - Zábava
total comic, no one comes near him, natural comic, never failed to make me laugh, and still does to this day, just wonderful.
Brilliant comic, could stand on stage and not say a word but the audience would roar with laughter. Comic genius. God bless❤️
A true comic genius. A star among a comedy breed so missed today.
Over twenty years the counrty has lost genuine funny people. Thank God they survive on youtube. Thanks fior posting. An interview with Keneth Williams is fantastic.
No one ever had more fun performing that Tommy! He provided us with a lot of fun in the process.
Always unpredictable, never disappointing, one of the all time greats indeed and greatly missed.
i dont think there will ever be another comedian who could just look at an audienece and have them in stiches, what a ledgend.........
A great man who has sinced past, so pleased you tube exists because many more generations can enjoy true comedy.
bloody great showman i'm so glad i missed his final performance that way i can remember him at his best. I do wish there more Tommy Coopers in this world
Tommy Cooper, pure comedy genius.
Michael Caine
Wonderful! Always loved watching him! Miss his unique humour very much! What a lovely man he was too!
Tommy lived a few doors away from me in the 1970s when I lived in my flat in Chiswick.. always said hello and he often had a drink in back room of local pub. Just as crazy in reality as on stage.!!
I knocked on his door in Chiswick one Saturday when I was a salesman and he invited me in and offered me a drink.
Saw Tommy Cooper on stage and I have never seen so many people on pain through laughter, 5 minutes before he said a word, absolute genius
As a teenager I grew up with this wonderful comedian I loved him...I miss you so much my friend...you made me laugh!!
Tommy Cooper will always be a legend
parky nearly collapsed laughing...a hard man to ask serious questions to. great fun.
As Paul says no one comes near him -how we miss them when they've gone it's just a pleasure to watch him so warm as a person too
The only man to put a bunch of hats on and make it funny 🤣 Love him. Wish he was still alive so I could meet him.
I heard that he was doing a live show. The lights went down and a voice announced, 'Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr Tommy Cooper.' Then they heard Tommy sighing and making various noises. Then steps could be heard coming down stairs. By now the audience was in hysterics, and he hadn't even appeared on the stage. The word genius doesn't cover this great man.
i saw it live on telly , even when he was dying i was laughing , i didn,t know but it goes to show you can die laughing
I watched the live show thought it was part of the act RIP tommy cooper now parkie has gone RIP
An amazing comedian of his time, always looked forward to on TV
Such a simple trick but the smoothness of the slight-of-hand is phenomenal. What a legend. And unbelievably funny too
Hardly phenomenal. Try to stay in reality. I can do that more smoothly, as can most beginners! He admitted he was crap at most magic but yeah you know better than the man himself..
Some1 I know said when he went to see him he just stood infront of a little gate on the stage telling jokes and everybody was wondering what the gate was for cos he never mentioned it all way through the performance and at the end he just walked through the gate and off the stage laughing! Absolutley different class!
Oh Tommy.
You only had to stand there with that daft grin on your face and I disolved in laughter.
Thank you, rest in peace, a true comic genius.
oh YES!!!!
You, me and the rest of the UK :)
He was an amazing character my dad k new him and always made him laugh, but Tommy would get angry with people (just like that) due to his aĺcahol intake but he made millions laugh and still watch him to this day ,? RIP Tommy
Agreed! I was watching on that fateful night along with millions of others, a true genius, they don't make 'em like that no more.
What a man pure class never to be seen again pure comedy
What a character, unforgettable
No comic has ever made me laugh as much as Tommy Cooper. Impeccable timing from a true comic genius. Without a doubt he was and is widely loved for his silly trademark humor and he never swore unlike today's bland and not so funny 'comedians.'
Tommy Cooper - this interview is why I like him so much, a brilliant magician and yet so crazy. The Parkinson show is where you go to be "yourself", so Tommy took his fez off and carried on being the same - that was as close to himself as he would go on tv...
what a legend sadly missed
I love this man!
i might stop laughing sometime next week
He was so bloody funny, that man.
clivemcgee@live.co.uk
@@clivemcgee4987 Did you mean to type that comment?
While my way from school, i saw him from the bus i was on.
Early 80s was the time.
Did he fit?
Magic maniac .. love him. Loved him. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Tommy. you are a one in a billion.
Quite so Peter.
👍👍👍😂🤣😂❤️👵
uuuh he cant hear you
In Tommy's logic, that couldnt be right, otherwise there'd be 7 of him, including a chinese!
My Mam and Dad would be in fits when he was on the telly, just thinking back on that makes me laugh, you do not see that type on entertainer around any more, and that is a pity. seeing Tommy and Parkinson together is a great treat.
Who watched part one and couldn't resist part two?
beautiful video
priceless Cooper!
Great slight of hand
Great Magician of the Magic Circle!
parky laffin made it for me.
A Genius a legend and the master of magic and comedy a total legend i agree.
Brilliant stuff.
Still laugh so much at this great bloke
Funiest guy that ever walked the planet he just had that charsima and well he was just Tommy
The man just tries on various hats and he's funny. Only Tommy Cooper could get away with that.
@redredreds100 He has the best delivery ever!!! Timing and that baffled look on his face, priceless....
What a marvellous man he was, life goes on I suppose.
The main man!!
The reason we voted Brexit was so Tommy could get his fez back!
Yes but the reason he got his fez back was Boris borrowed 'Bret Sit!' for a few hours to impress...Doris...and couldn't afford to pay him back. Or so the story goes. How do you explain that? Anyway, I thought it was a Welsh dragon hat. Those were the days, when all we knew about another culture was the kind of hat they might wear when they're up for a bit of leg-pulling. Or in the bath. And it was completely divorced from reality. And just a bit of fun really.
Forget the common market. What irony. Tommy only had to give that gormless look to get me laughing. He could get a whole comic routine going without even saying a word.
never used bad language or smut humour. amazing.
oh shit the mongoose part.all in the family had that as well when pinky peterson pranked archie lol awesome
Look at the alternative comics today and look at a proper comic, a true family entertainer
And no filthy language. Most of those so-called stand-ups are finished--they ran out of swear words.
There's just no comparison, is there?
i found an old trick of his, don't know when he dropped it! ;)
lol, the french version is priceless
The French numbers got me busting up pretty good. :-)
Brilliant
THE BEST
what a Genius act
still making me laugh lol just like that
Like the great Les Dawson who made a career of being such a good pianist he could play it badly, Tommy was such a good magician he could ham it n still be amazing!
this guy looked giant
I love his reaction at 4:26
lovely
Answer to the question.
"No I can't do a trick without comedy"
I'm VERY familiar with the ball trick ;)
@Eye2EyeIIIV how did he do it? Im gobsmacked
Funniest comic ever in the UK, he looked funny but also looked like a guy you wouldn't want to upset eh.
Its the way I tell em!
He just had to look at you and you would burst out laughing
What a comic!!
The very best :)
sounds great to me1
i went to the doctor. i felt bad. what`s wrong with me, doc? you`ve got 4 minutes to live. what can you give me ? a boiled egg!
thing is,he didn't need to do any tricks...you'd just look at him and you'd be laughing:)
@GordonMorrice He's actually an archetypal Welshman.
There was only one, a friend of mine was at the fatefull show where he died, he knew him, Tommy gave him a gift one Christmas, a box of matches.. on the outside it had a fez, a cane and top hat etc, on the inside of the box it said STOLEN FROM TOMMY COOPER. even a box of his matches could make us laugh.
now he makes us cry, because he is gone, gone but never forgotten.
Rest with the Angels oh King of Laughter.
ah hahhahahaaaa
What a treasure! I would have LOVED to have seen Tommy play a bad ass gangster/assassin/hard nut in a decent movie.
Oh for the days when comedy was just that - comedy !!
I watched his last moments on TV, live on stage at her Majesties theatre. He had only just come on, wearing a huge golden smock like costume and suddenly and slowly, sank to the floor in a crouched position, and fell backwards. I, and the audience thought it was part of his act and started laughing. The curtains were eventually drawn together, but Tommy was too far forward to be covered. So The shows introducer, JImmy Tarbuck , pulled the Curtains around Tom. The show went straight into adverts,, despite there being one only a few minutes ago. He died back stage of a massive heart attack. I think the video is on CZcams.
"Mon Goose.; (French) My Bird (English)
was a rsm in the army can you imagine funny as fuck
you get the feeling that parky was impatient at tommy`s refusal to do a straight intererview and instead surround himself with props. however, like many a cooper audience, despite himself, he ends up in total hysterics, at one stage and tommy is as funny as ever. never saw parky convulsed in so much laughter before or after.
A bloody legend.
2:15 u can see the ball in his right hand which he just took out of his pocket
Progenitor
did anyone pickup his joke about joinining the commenweatlh "we hadnt won 'its a knockout' yet "
we may all forget the common market.... dig out your fez..
4:44 two in the pink...
Fez's fez isn't it 😂😂😂
Never mock the Moors... We stand for love truth peace freedom and justice...
Looks like someone deleted the sections. But why not look a little further for verification? Seems you only believe what you want to, not what is.
Besides citing his printed biography, the first google search item after wiki mentions it: thebiographychannel.co.uk/biographies/tommy-cooper.html
Tommy Cooper slays me
He what? Slays you?? What fucking gibberish is that? Can't you speak English? Clearly not
How did he die?
Really????. He died live on tv prime time Sunday night from a massive heart attack. I was a kid at the time
Timmy Cooper just isn't Tommy Cooper without the fez.
Today's alternative comedians please watch a genius at work people say everything improves Comedy I think not
07:55 so Roy Brown wasn't the first comedian to wear a flying helmet :)
Well spotted
at 4:45 tommy does the shocker
8:30
Parkinson is so dull. He had great guests on his show. Anyone would of been better than him.
You could read even the wiki article about Tommy Cooper to verify it for yourself.
That said, if bappek doesn't like the performer, why watch his videos? Silly bappek.
