Ahaha xD After I had bought the laptop few years ago to play BF3 and BF ONE I'm plaing BF2 now))) Biggest problem of BF series it's that creators aren't playing it now. BF2 was created by players! @@yevhenrekhtin6591 Truth, its a masterpiece, although i have to admit I didnt like it when i first played it, I was playing Joint Operation Typhoon Rising Demo they had going at the time, just one map but it was 64v64 i believe and constant battling with dedicated helicopter pilots shuttling players to a good attack spots, more coordination and teamwork but not simulation level, and actually played more acracedy than BF2, jumping out of planes into other peoples boats. I think when Bf2 came out it stole its thunder, having the better graphic engine, which actually on my system looked worse since all the shadows were blocky and I wasnte even getting 30fps until I upgraded the graphics card. And when I did, it was easy to see why it was the best looking game at the time. So I ended up playing BF2 after that gpu upgarde and never bought Joint Ops until years later, which at that point I noticed all the expansions and maps really divided what community was left and almost wished they just had that 1 map of 64vs 64 going like they did in the demo. Anyway I fell in love with BF2 but still remember the crazier times I had in Joint Ops and still think at it core did many things the best in team multiplayer that really hasnt been seen since.
you can get a standalone free version of this game called Project Reality that is modded to be more realistic, I recommend anyone play both that loves this game. ;)

I wish EA/DICE would team up with GOG to re-release the classic Battlefield games (pre-Frostbite era). I'm sure there'd be a good-sized market for them, and it's free money that would cost them little to get going. GOG are usually more than happy to iron out any technical issues with modern OS's.

I would like to thank you. This is so fucking nostalgic. My dad used to play it with his friends like 10+ years ago. I remember how I always sat into his chair, when he went away for a while, and I had a quick chat and play with his friends. This is my BF2 experience…

the weirdest thing is when i was 6 0r 7 i remember playing bf1942 in my sister's Windows xp computer and we still have it it Just really dusty and it barely works anyway on topic i got playing what i would do is put dynamite in the plane and waited for a friendly to on it and in mid air 'ish id blow it up so many good memories.

Doesn't matter, game is very old and servers are open for everyone who wants to go in the war. Just search for the iso on the internet and use whatever serial you want.

As a veteran.....and somebody who is disgusted by the state of this game i used to love...i can tell you that WILL NOT happen. BF2 did not pretend that women were allowed to serve in combat MOS's. It did not have a diverse enough cast of infantry doing the actual fighting. Nevermind that i NEVER saw a women serving in the Infantry, because they arent even allowed to, lets keep pretending....and this my friend is why EA will NEVER release a BF2 remastered....it does not fit with their pretend new SJW/PC influenced games.
@Daniel thats activison to, but they released a cod4 remastered. my opinion, it will never get bf2 remaster, cuz it gaves in bf3 the vanilly "remastered" maps.

Hey, i have a question, because i can't register account there, it says that option its turned off and i should check for it later. Everything seems to be right in launcher, however when i am opening link in launcher to create an account it does redirects to me to website which explains that this should work in bf2 ingame already. Do you know what may be a problem here?

I can play in Singleplayer but when i change to Multiplayer and try to connect, BF crash to Desktop. Saw several tut to solve it, but nothing help.

i successfully installed everything, but when i tried to run the games, it says something about missing dll files, tried updating the visual and manually ownlado the missing file on teh error, but still the ssam thing. IT won't ruin, I have windows 11 64 bit

Most of that stuff wasn’t necessarily. Game can be downloaded from lost-soldiers legally. That version is all patched and then the BF2hub. Nothing else is needed, just two downloads.
