Thank you! It was a labor of love for sure. I didn't really plan on publishing anything because the anxiety was getting to me -- but a couple of nudges from twitter last week (who knew something positive could have come from Twitter these days?) got me going... so we'll see what happens next... Thank you! I.... um.... quick updated.... am no longer a fellow math teacher... It makes me so sad to be out of that club (in some ways) but that job was one thing that was keeping me so unwell. I should probably do an update on my life -- but big changes here including career change. I did manage to make it 10 years, but ultimately I had to step away.
But, let me tell you, thank you for sticking with it. This country needs good teachers now more than ever, and I'll do my best to root for change from this side of things.

Oh man, I can't figure out how to type an emoji in my replies, but imagine the laugh-cry-rolling emoji, and that's my official response. I don't remember if we talked about this, but it probably won't surprise you to know I did not back Frosthaven... My close friend did though, and I asked him to let me know how he liked it. So we'll see!
@@TomTeachesGames Yeah, you mentioned not having backed it, and, given your (on camera) progress through Gloomhaven, it's a reasonable choice.
It looks like Frosthaven has basically the same scenario play (with a few tweaks to improve on problems that emerged with Gloomhaven - such as enemies now being able to move through invisible figures so you can't just block a doorway for a couple of rounds) but significantly ups the complexity of between-scenario stuff (though still nowhere near the complexity of the scenario play). And has at least 50% more content pretty much across the board (same number of character classes though).
I would like to know what paper thickness (Gram) of you use to make this organizer

Thank you! We're getting there slowly but surely. I suppose I could do an update video... but, in short: I moved closer to family/friends, I quit teaching, I got a job at a software company, and I'm continuing therapy... So it's all baby steps at this point. But I hope it's all uphill from here! (Because, you know, that's totally how life works... *wink*)

Thank you! I'm doing much better than I was -- some really big changes in the last year -- and I still have a ways to go, but I'm glad to be making some progress.
Good to see a new video from you. I always enjoy seeing your craftiness in action. Have you picked up 3D printer? I bet you could do some cool design work there.
I haven't yet! I really really want to -- one fear I have is that I have literally ZERO experience with anything 3D design... so I feel like would be a pretty expensive venture. My best friend's job is to design 3D prints, so I might be able to talk him into giving me some newb-lessons or something... but I think about that literally all of the time.

Do you ever work with foam core type material? Would love to hear any general tips you have with it. I find cutting it with a knife troublesome, like how it can bunch up and stick up out of the cutting edge...grr...
You are literally describing the one-and-only experience I had with cutting foam core. I really tried a project once upon a time but a combination of the bunch up (a FRESH razor helped a little) and the fact that I couldn't cut a PERFECT straight line drove me absolutely bonkers and I had a minor freak out and that's literally when I designed my first paper-storage. So no tips from me, but I really wish I was better at foam core...
@@TomTeachesGames haha, I thought I was the only one! It is very hard to do right, but when it helps me sort and setup a game do much faster, I forgive the crooked lines bits of foam poking up!
