You CAN record straight to the internal micro SD card... and then, upload the video later. It’s NOT for just “live” video/streaming... love this concept, just wish it had a higher quality sensor!
There are times I can't make my son's baseball games. Could he set it up and record so I can watch it live on my phone from work? And do you have to have a I phone? Thanks.

Once the Mevo is connected to your phone do you have to be in certain range to attain the stream ?

how come there is no noise in your closer shots? I get a lot of grain when the camera uses the closer shot and I use proper lighting

There's an option in the app to choose your destination.
That’s NOT accurate you can not stream 4K with this , you can only stream up to 1080p, but record 4K on an SD card
