God, I forgot what a great song that is. RacerX was and is a force. I remember, mid-80s, being in London a week with school and visiting a record store, going down the stairs - and they were blasting Street Lethal. I'll never forget that moment.

Mark Knoffler, Albert King or Jeff Beck are some of a lot of guitarists that do not play with picks.
As far as I know Matteo did not started his guitar learning with classical guitar, but he took lessons for some time.
Check out some of his jazz stuff. He's quickly become one of my favorite guitarists. Really something else.

The most interesting question is… where do you go from here? Can it get any better? I can’t imagine that anyone in the near future will be able to make a giant leap upward from the momentary technical and dexterous genius these and other new musicians are showing. There are six year old musicians with so much talent it’s scary. It’s all pretty WOW!

Don’t ever say give up technical ability and velocity are great but that’s not the only thing that makes music great there’s feeling , emotion , tastefulness, , don’t ever stop playing and don’t ever doubt yourself! Music will keep you young believe it or not, have a wonderful day!

È fuori discussione che sia una cosa incredibile suonare questo brano senza plettro (M. Mancuso). Tuttavia, senza plettro, non è possibile eseguire il Palm muting sulla quinta corda durante il Riff principale. Ne consegue che le note della melodia sulla quarta corda non sono accentate; quindi ascolti quell riff con tutte le note alla stessa intensità.
Io preferisco la versione plettrata, come l’originale

È verissimo, infatti lui stesso dice di non riuscire a fare il muting alla Di Meola per dire. Non si può fare tutto col plettro e non si può fare tutto con le dita
