There's way more trouble for Cathay Pacific to sort themselves out over the years: the rude and demanding passengers, the staffing issues and the aircraft themselves. I think Casey is very lucky indeed to have a good service from CX staff, and the rest of us would have been suffered in the cramped environment, having a poor (almost inedible) meal from rude staff. VIP? I'm not so sure... but I will defo try to avoid it. Sending from Hong Kong, home of CX

Yeah. Most of the time it's only for the rivers and lakes. They usually flood. But most of the time where people live at its nothing serious. I get those warnings everytime it rains.
Flash floods are extremely dangerous and can kill people with quickly rising water. People need to be alerted quickly to flooding to prevent flood deaths.
