      Actually, I want to explain the basics of power electronics by using Simulink. But, many subscribers want systems that are related to their studies. It is hard for me. Because explanations of control algorithms take a long time. When I have free time, I am making videos. I have experience with NPC multilevel inverters. Maybe next time, I can make a video by the direction of your request.

    • @nakiguler

      If you only want to charge the battery, you can directly connect the PV system. If you have a load, the design will change. You can use a converter for PV and/or you should control the battery power by depending on MPPT.

      @@subhabhaskaran1827, Actually the control algorithm works based on current control. But outer loop changes by depending on charge or discharge. As you said, the load is a constant voltage part for discharge mode. While the system is in charge mode, the algorithm works based on critical voltage point. These two-part generate a current reference for the inner loop.

      İlginiz için teşekkürler. Yük yerine bir batarya eklerseniz iki batarya arasında güç dağılımı söz konusu olacaktır. Nasıl bir sisteme ihtiyacınız olduğunu açıklarsanız ona göre öneride bulunabilirim.

      Thanks. Because of the battery has bidirectional power flow, the current may be negative and positive. The reference current determines the charge or discharge current.

    If my source is sun and i want to supply an ac load using an inverter, then how I can supply the loads at night from battery?

    • @nakiguler
      @nakiguler  Před 4 lety

      To do this, you may need a DC bus. If you supply the inverter from the DC bus, power flow will be from battery and PV. It will require a management algorithm. Because the system should know the enable and disable times.

    • @nakiguler
      @nakiguler  Před 4 lety

      Actually it does not matter. MOSFET or IGBT can be used. Yes, you can add more load to the battery. But, you should check the current limit. You may need to increase battery power limits.
