Wow that's awesome to go visit and especially around Halloween time
From the time I was three days old I was going to Galveston to see doctors for a birth defect and I've always heard that the island was very haunted.
A ghost story on every block? Sounds like New Orleans with their ghost stories.
It was probably because of the hurricane in 1900. The town was only 8 feet above sea level and there was no sea wall. The waves were 16 feet tall

There were also burned bodies after the 1900 storm because they were too many to bury .Also waa other storms many before and after that .The fire in,the 1700s the Indians and pirates .Lots of doom
