Stunning to see in the sunshine! When I was in Krakow it was -25c and snow was knee deep. Never been so cold in my entire life but it was stunning all the same.

Krakow was very surprising to me. It was so beautiful and everyone so friendly. The old city center had such a vibrant feel!

Cherry vodka is awesome, my grandmother was Polish, she would always try to push a glass onto us when we were younger ... 😂 Her cooking was awesome. Wonderful video.

Hi guys, just found your videos and really enjoying them, thank you! I’m hoping to visit both Wroclaw and Kraków, among other place, later this year, fingers crossed, if Australians can travel more freely by then! I am interested to hear your experiences re how much impact covid had on your travel and activities, as it didn’t seem as though masks were even common there at that time. Also, when you went to the salt mine, did you find it slippery, as someone else has mentioned it can be a bit treacherous in that regard! Happy travels, stay safe,

Hi Marg! When we traveled to Poland we found that some places were pretty strict on the mask mandates, and others were relaxed. Generally when you went inside you were asked to have one on. When we were in Ubers/on public transportation, about half the time people were wearing masks. Other than the masks, we didn't see too much impact on the activities. As for the salt mines, we did not have any issues slipping, maybe if it was wet, but we didn't encounter that issue. Hope you are able to make it Poland and have a Great trip!

Poland is such a beautiful place to spend this holiday! What bag did you use for this travel? Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.

We are notorious for packing way too much. We both had a large rolling suitcase, Duffel Bags and back pack each...haha
Dragon called Smok Wawelski who lived in the cave in the hill under the Wawel castle had an exquisite taste and demanded to be provided only with virgins. Of course, the number of virgins was limited, so the ruler of Wawel Hill announced that whoever kills the dragon will get the hand of the princess and in the future he will become the ruler himself. Although many have tried, among them the most eminent knights, no one has succeeded, losing their lives in the fight against the fire-breathing dragon. Only the shoemaker Skuba did this with a trick. He took the skin from the ram and filled it with sulfur and put it near the cave. Dragon hungry because fewer and fewer virgins greedily swallowed the ram. Sulfur caused that it began to burn in his stomach and to extinguish the heat he quickly moved to the Vistula river and drank, drank, drank and finally exploded. Anyone can see the bones of the dragon, which were hung at the entrance to the Wawel Cathedral.
I love this story! I hope to go back to visit the cave under the castle one day
