That being said those are issues that can easily be fixed with just more steady vocal training. Fifth Harmony had great potential, but sadly were put in the wrong hands. the typical girl group ego curse didn’t help either.

They got better with harmonies over the years, but they never got really good at them. I'm open to being convinced otherwise! They were so good live. I saw them in Orlando. They are only “manufactured“ because Simon had to cut some of them as solo acts and he did not want to lose them. So he threw them together as a group to save them. They were so good together.

Didn't really follow any of the girls...like, even when they were all together, but damn Normani slayed it with Motivation and Dinah has recently (in April I think) release "Missed a Spot" which is a real bop. Hopefully they'll both keep on releasing good singles in the future

I personally love Camila's voice the most because of her unique tone, agility and control and also how her personality is shown through her voice/performances. Dinah's voice is also a standout, she's really talented, but the only downfall is that she's very inconsistent when there's a lot of choreography.
Dinah doesn't have problems with her breath control anymore, since 2017 she started managing it really well. she used to struggle because she had asthma and also she was the second-best dancer of the group and was always giving it all when it comes to dancing.

Ally Brooke is the girl with the largest range, her solo material is amazing aswell! Normani was the amazing dancer of the group and can do some pretty impressive vocals too! Lauren has a deep tone to her voice, very powerful. Her solo song 'Expectations' showcases this perfectly, especially live! Dinah has a very powerful voice, similar to Leona Lewis (they did a song together) but struggles with asthma so struggles with breath control during songs like WFH and TMG live with the heavy choreography. We've all been waiting for this band though! They're all talented. (Forgot to include Cabello but I always forget she was part of 5H, shes incredibly talented and I believe she was always too unique to be part of a girl band so rightfully went solo)!

All of them are good singers. I can't understand that people that should be adults at this point, still have this comments like teenage haters. We can talk about who's more charismatic, who's better as a performer, which voice is the one you like the most...but to say that there are girls that can or girls that can't sing in Fifth Harmony is childish.

Always on the fence about FH because I don't really know if they ever found their true style. They all have great voices but I find so few performances (except their acoustic sets) where they are any good. This is the exception - they amazing here. I know I will get slated but for some I feel they shine more as solo artists rather than in FH which is the case for Camila, Lauren and Normani.
I have always been a harmonizer, but I agree most great performances that 5H had are either acoustic or covers. When dancing is involved, their performances were usually downgraded. Also, 5H music was given to them and most of them simply did not vibe with the style. That’s why all of them shine as solo artists because they are making the music they want.

But some of their performances are not great when they dance around. This happens to most groups where that is their focus. I still stand by my comment that their acoustic sets are great. I honestly thing girl groups should stop shimmying around the stage and give us good live performances. Giving honest feedback does not equal hate. Unfortunately die hard fans overlook the obvious because they just that - super fans willing to forgive anything. And that’s forgivable. But you don’t need to ostracize people just because they have a comment. And whilst they had some great singles I still truly don’t feel they ever found their sound. And that’s tragic in my honest opinion.

Lauren's husky voice is my favorite but I will admit that she's not the best vocalist of the group (even though she's a great vocalist in her own right). I love all the girls' solo careers (except Camila's whose voice I find annoying own her own but that's just my tastes). Can't wait for the rest of the series!!
