Butter knife sharp just blew my mind. For years I've been wondering why my blades can't keep a razor sharp edge for more than one mow... Thank you!
Dealing with Ballard has been smooth. I had one order that had a set of blades missing in the order a quick email and Ballard quickly shipped the missing set out quickly with no questions. Definitely will continue to do business with Ballard. Highly recommend 👌
I appreciate your honesty and i trust the equipment you sell. Also the price on your blades is awesome. Keep it coming!
Love your guys's blades for my grasshopper. Been running them for 2 years now and they have outlasted any of the other blades that I've tried.
I run your X blade set aka bundle. These blades are very nice. I have been more than pleased with how they cut and perform. I will continue using them. Thanks again for all the help when I had questions about other products. Super nice staff
Got your X blades, lift and ripper. On my 60” Bad Boy. Great, super cut. Love em. They performed great. Will buy again for sure.
Tried all 3 types of Ballard's blades, the High rise, ripper and the reg through out the past yrs. love them, awesome quality , great priced and just purchased the new gold high lift mulch blades for my new Scag 61 with the 40hp Vanguard. Cant wait to see how they perform. Thanks Kory and your team for introducing new products that works and getting out to us quick. Definitely recommend
I've been using Ballard Blades on my Toro Z Master and my Wright Stander and they have performed excellent in our Brisbane, Australia conditions. Hot and wet here right through summer and the high rise throw the clippings really well and bag nicely too. Scraping the deck and a regular touch up of blade sharpness is a must.
I ran a set of ripper blades on my encore years ago for spring and fall mulching. Worked excellent. Very durable too. During the summer i added a second ripper to make an X blade and that eliminated stragglers on lush taller summer grass while still mulching great. Just was mindful to engage the blades more gently with all the extra weight.
I like the high lift blades but i get alot of blowout from the front of the deck. Im giving the razors a try this year.
I have about 20hrs on the Golden ripper blades and they do very well.
I cannot stress how much of a difference keeping the deck clean makes! You can have the best blade in the world and if the underside is dirty, it will cut poorly. I’ve been running Ballard blades on a Hustler Super Z and Scag walk behind for the last two years and have been extremely happy with them. They are great products and I highly recommend them!
I've purchased the scraper and a SuperJack2 from you and they've been excellent products. Your videos are excellent as well. I value your experience and advice. The sharp blade advice is right on the mark. I've gotten a lot of life out of some generic (ebay) serrated blades. I'm a real mulching fan, so I use the segment baffle blocks on a 48" BadBoy Elite. I mow two quarter acre lawns twice a week. The clippings go right into the turf. The lawns are very healthy with hardly any fertilizer applied. Up here in the PNW, Bermuda Grass is considered a evil weed and keeping a healthy lawn seems to help choke out the Bermuda. I try not to be a "my mower is best" snob but the BadBoy is something I can come home from work get the mowing done without being a mechanic for two hours each time. My neighbors buy the Big Box Store Husqvarna and really suffer. The consumer/residential grade John Deeres are almost as bad (I had serveral older lawn tractor style John Deeres), those were the Bad Days. Thank You.
I just bought your razor blades. I'm sure I'll be happy with them. Some negative reviews I read on different products blow my mind sometimes. I once read a 1 star review on a product were the customer absolutely loved the product but gave it 1 star because the shipping was 1 day late due to FedEx lol
Just ordered the rippers. I've been using normal blades, but keep the quik chute closed most of the time, so i'm interested to see how much better they work.
Your Hi-Rise blades work great on my Spartan KG-XD.
I love Ballard!
Also; I need that Yamaha in my life.
Great video
wish you had a blade to to work on a 82" rear finish mower with the carbide coating. Those do hold an edge longer than non coated,
One thing we noticed is your blade edge on the regular lift, high lift and mulching blade seemed to be significantly smaller than the oregons we were using on our John Deere stand on 52rs. Also same thing on the bobcat 61”.
This was based of buying your blades last year. We stopped buying them for that reason. I’m not sure if they have changed or not but just some feedback for you.
Like the man says, condition's. My gold blade's work great when it's dry out but boy do they clump when every thing is wet . For all around the low lift's work the best.
What's the best blades for wet for spring 1st mows ? Plz lmk and thank you
How do the X blades affect the electric clutch. Awful draw on the clutch on engagement.
i got the ballard blades not sure if you make the cutting edge longer if that would do anything
Love your Yamaha cafe racer.
Does this add weight to the spindle? Also grass clumping in St Augustine?
You never mention Cub commercial zero mowers. How do this fit a Cub ProZ500 with a spline washer that locks in the blade and nut? Is the spline long enough to fit the x blade adapter?
What blades do you recommend for a 54” Bad Boy Maverick for the “Striping” aspect of it??? Thank You in advance.
I want to get a set of gold hybrid blades and a set of the rippers for those 1st cuts of the season! I'm curious if i use the x blades on my zero would be better then just using the G HYBRID singles? I'm worried about running 6 blades on my FX691v Kawasaki ( might not be powerful enough) can anyone reply for me what you think? Want to make the best decision for my customers
Do you guys make any 21” blades for residential/homeowner use?
I wish they would
Your website doesn’t have blade availability for 50 in Dixie Chopper
