Are you KIDding me ?! This was mind-blowingly awesome!
The only bad thing about this was that you can only vote it up once .
It really was! Better than a lot of the music out there!
Completely agree!
Looks like its in a garage, but def sounds mixed.
okay but why nobody’s talking about the girl that plays guitar, those bends were imcredible!
no slackers in this group. they all killing it. even the girl over there on b/u vocals is nailing the harmony.
@@Hobodeluxe007 Backup vocalist is the big sister of the guitar girl...
That bass player is off the chain!
Ellen, I am a fan from the very start. Her timing is awesome, awesome feel, and a typical bass player, no matter what ….. she is like this, super concentrated in the pocket.
@@StephenvanWijk I love when she gives the "Checkmate!" or the slap across the screen after some slap bass, in reference to @Davie504
Here we can only applaud the editor, yes, her bass is childish, but the attack that we hear clearly does not coincide with what we see ...
@@Stubbornnezzher bass is childish?? Huh?
@@hegemonycricket2182 its a google, im about size, nvm.
Jesus CHRIST! The level of talent with these kid rock bands is astonishing. That little guy on guitar... age 9?? The whole band... I'm 71 years old and there were NO kids that could play like that in my day, none. That little Ellen played that bass line like she wrote the goddam thing. WOW!!!!
I found this one
czcams.com/video/YhFlE4mFqA4/video.html
Rock never dies...yeahhhhaaaa❤❤❤❤
She has defiently taken one of the more demanding bass lines in recent memory and owned it for sure.
I'm in my 60's and we had garage bands playing "Smoke on the water" - this is FIRE! Imagine where these kids go from here...Until Ellen played Muse, I'd never heard the song, and she powers thru it like "what's for lunch"...at that little guy on the guitar is hangin it out there, and so is that drummer...so cool. The vocals - lead and accompany - are driving it home. I'd sit and listen to this band all day...
@@SparkTubes If you already have gone downthe Ellen rabbit hole, may I suggest spending the weekend with yoyoka... it will take that long to watch alll of the videos and reaction videos... Her and ellen are going to be an unstoppale force.
My god! There is hope for humanity after all! What a fantastic job kids! ❤
No there is not. It feels like end of times as if humans hit THE END.
We are amazed at how good Ellen is, but man, that drummer and that singer are GOING places! I want this album, record 11 more songs. TODAY....lol.💜💜💜
The drummer is Yoyoka, she is unbelievable good at her age
@@ArDiaN_MusicIm 70 years old. Ive been struggling to get some kind of half good sounds out of an acoustic guitar for 50 plus years. These kids are just amazing. My guitar just looked at me in disgust and shook its headstock! The future is BRIGHT!
Drummer = Yoyoka; one of best (500) drummers in the world.
@@janbleekerI dont like to rank artists, but Yoyoka is the standard of excillence to be achieved now, I think. And only 14. That singer, if she follows up in this genre, has a huge career ahead imho.
Yoyoka is, probably, the best young drummer in the world. She is on the Drummer World list of Top 500 drummers of all time, as the youngest person ever (at 11). And she is the winner of the best young drummer of the year award 2023.
She regularly plays at the Whisky a Go Go (rock) and The Baked Potato (jazz).
There are more than 600 videos on her channel.
Awestruck! This was sick good. I'm 64 years old and to see these kids playing with such skill and enthusiasm brings tears to my old eyes. Only the most seasoned bands pull this off out of studio.
Totally relate.
I know what you mean. It is so uplifting watching these kids playing.
Ellen & Yoyoka together again! Solid rhythm section and the whole band just oozing with talent. Great job!
That’s no easy bass line there well done Ellen, power be with you
At this point I can't imagine Ellen couldn't play anything. On bass but who knows?
My hands are tired just watching.
Standing ovation! 😁
Agree ..
and if they want another band member .. I play the spoons 🥺
Agree! That's the only thing missing from the video, the very much deserved cheers.
School Of Rock in real life! That little lady on bass is a boss, that line is relentless to play and she crushed it!
I spotted Yoyoka and Ellen first thing and I knew this was going to be good.
I can't believe my eyes!! This kids are freakin' sick!! AWESOME!!
Ellen really got to show just how accomplished she is on that bass! Did you botice Yoyoka's superb drum work? No? That's right. She served the song and she did it perfectly. No over playing. Of course she is here on an artist's visa as a professional musician. She's 14.
This gtoup could cut an album right now. Lordy, they are so amazing!
Funny fact: This awesome song is twice as old as the kids covering this great gig! 😊
Once you put Ellen and Yoyoka together , you have a supergroup. Hope to see more collabs in the future... Wow!
There is not a weak link in the bunch. The only thing missing is a laugh from Ellen at the end. 😉
Naw I was looking for the air slap!
@@modalities Ну, тебе пощёчину, а нам её улыбку. )))
Is OK, I laughed for her!🤣
@@modalities "Very emotional times."
Oh I'm sure it was there, they just didn't show it.
My favorite band & one of their most technical & difficult. You’ve done Muse proud!!! 🙌🏻
Oh man im 56, and started getting wet eyes of joy, !. This was the best kid band i have EVER seen...........AWESOME !.
Fucking shout out to the 11yr old slogging away at one of the most ambitious bass lines on the planet in the background. Super impressed. And that 9yr old on lead guitar….wow.
Why are you cursing on an 11 year old's channel brah?
Welcome to the internet. 11yr old I’m assuming has parents, bruh. Oh yeah…that’s a lost art, nevermind.
Nice! Way to go preppy. Take it down a notch Francis with the swearing. They’re kids dude.
Ellen, I think that I can speak for everybody when I say that we would very happily watch a bunch more cover-videos by your group here.
Great job. :)
Thank you, we have two more coming very soon!
@@EllenPlaysBass Yes - more please....
This version is so addictive. I play it 4 or 5 times a day
Every one of you should darn proud of yourselves. I wish you all the best in the future. Have a good day.
You can't call them kids, they are brilliant young musicians. All of them on their best game and playing their socks off! I'd love to hear more from them!
yeah this group could fill arenas imo. someone get them to form a legit band and give them a contract. even if all they do are covers for a while they could open for anyone on tour.
Hard to believe Ellen’s bass wasn’t smoking. The band is on fire!
amazing that everyone is under 16 with a skill level beyond their years. kudos to the engineer on this as well, the mix is perfect
Bass player's dad is a superb musician, with great producing and engineering skills as well.
That was an absolutely jaw-dropping performance by everyone in the band! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Every one of these musicians will be the future of Rock and Roll!
Ellen and Yoyoka need to form a band!! Like this band here 😎
Ellens confident demeanor is incredible, she is the coolest 11 year old I have ever seen!
And a shoutout to the recording engineers. Great sounding instruments and a perfect mix.
Some people may write this off as a heavily edited studio production, but having heard what these kids are able to do individually there is probably only a few takes and hardly any editing at all. These kids would probably sound just as good live, and that is not something you can say about most artists in the charts today. Awesome!
Whenever I see that Ellen and Yoyoka have gotten together I get excited. They are both amazing musicians and both have the same attitude towards their music: to keep it fun. I realise that they both have their own life and career trajectories to follow but I selfishly hope that their paths cross many times in the future. That goes for all of these talented individuals.
Drums and Bass hold a band together and they need to be in sync. So Yoyoka is already a master, and Ellen, although a little younger, just keeps getting better and better...
These children are the saviors of the world! there is hope in real music 🙌🙌
I like that the guitarists put their own spin on it, and the vocalist. And I also like how the drums and bass were played with 100% precision. Amazing
Despite her age, Ellen is already a bass legend in THIS old fogy's eyes(61)
This whole band and the singer is totally awesome. They are all really good.
The true School of Rock !
WOW! These kids could fill an arena.
You're not wrong! YOYOKA played live on stage in front of 30K audience for Cyndi Lauper on one occasion, and Fallout Boy for another, WHEN she was 10 y.o.
That may be a stretch until they have their own music, but with all that talent i wont be surprised
This song is a piece of cake for Yoyoka but Ellen kills it.
Wow. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it was less that that. A kids supergroup -- stellar! Who knew? 🤩
Close your eyes and who knew how young they really were???😮
I'm an old complainer and I always find that covers are never worth the original. This cover rocks everything! !
These kids walk up to any garage band trying to play this and take over their instruments after Ellen says: "Here, hold my Capri Sun"
the little boy with the blue guitar is Excellent
The bassist was even more mind blowing 💯
I’ll bet you never expected to hear yourself saying that😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😊
The future of music, in hands like these, is very, very strong indeed…❤❤❤
We need so much more of this exact group. They're all amazing.
This is what my garage band wished that we sounded like, back in the day. We were nowhere close. These kids rock!
The way the AWESOME band The Warning started! Go, super talented kids! The world needs more true musicians than hate! 🤘
This band is amazing, and Ellen blows me away on Bass
When the electric guitarist go into their solos I get chills.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man…!!! OMG just doesn’t cut it! If you guys toured, just playing covers, I’d come and see every show! Man! AMAZING! LOVE the energy!
Thanks so much!!
No Ellen. Thank YOU!!! God has blessed you with an AMAZING talent and loving parents who have have bestowed upon you the love of music!! Keep those little fingers of yours burning the fret board!!!
Came for Ellen, who is still amazing, but damn the rest of the group is great! Vinya is definitely going to be a star. She's just got the full package. She has a great voice and has a look that producers just eat up. Don't get me wrong. I loved the rest of the group too, but Vinya stands out to me.
These kids are amazing! Ellen is killing it on bass too!
Ellen should get double-time for this gig. She's working twice as hard as anyone else!
At their age, the technical precision and sound, that was a masterclass. These kids are unbelievably talented.
We've all been watching Ellen and Yoyoka mature into their art. They're just solid. The first cover I saw was "Oceans" a couple of years ago. I don't know when this one was recorded. It says it was posted 2 weeks ago.
it was recorded about 5-6 weeks ago.
The best thing about CZcams is allowing things like this to rise to the top. You guys ROCK!
Ellen is such a Big Inspiration,,She's very Special...L♥ve it..!!
Vinya Chhabra's voice is beyond this world
And her co vocalist blended perfectly with her!
It's hard to say enough about this, but I'll have a go: the top session musicians in the world could not have produced a better version of this song. They could have done just as well, but they could not have topped it. That's how good it is.
The future of music is safe with you guys!
I hope Matt, Chris and Dominic see this! Well done on yet another fantastic collaboration 👏
That bass line must be exhausting to play. Stunning!
It is. They're a "real" band now (about to release their second album on Republic) but years The Warning - three sisters - performed Hysteria at their middle school Liceo in Monterrey MX, ages 15/13/10. The bassist is the 10-year-old and once they're done she looks at her hand as if to make sure all the fingers are still there LOL.
No Words!!! 😶😶😶 Love them! ❤❤❤ Ellen is a great bassist.. she's AMAZING!!!!
Wow. Muse should see this. This is purely phenomenal! Everything about this is every bit professional. Guitar solos were awesome, drums right on, vocalist is amazing, and of course, Ellen rockin' out on bass.
OMG! Power Rockin! Top to bottom, inside out - you guys are doing it right! Have FUN, learn something NEW, and make new Friends! No Egos, just hang it out there for the world to enjoy! More Please!
A new video is dropping this Saturday!
@@EllenPlaysBass Got the new vid! Another excellent production. Find the song writers - get stuff you can release as new. If this group meets once every 2 months to cut new vids and songs, it will continue to be a smash! Thanks for sharing your work and making all this stuff happen (dads rock!)
Is this for real? Absolutely incredible.
As real as it gets! Check out each one's channels... They are listed in the description.
WOW!!! I just realized i've played this video about 10 to 15 times in a row and i'm not even a rock fan. More of a Motowner. That bass line and the guitar are mesmerizing.
Me too, they are AMAZING
This absolutely rocks my face off.
Lead Vocalist was shakey nervous last time, this time she is back with a vengeance.
The little man on that solo id beyond words.
This was perfection. NEVER have I ever seen a young band do better.
This was very, VERY cool. All of the instrumentals were on point, and I could tell all the kids had a real passion for what they were doing. Very cool to see. I also loved how the main singer had her own style, but also some of the cry in the ends of her phrases really paid homage to Matt’s style, so it felt like a really nice nod to the original. She also seems to have a bit of Hayley Williams in her style, which I like a lot. And the backing vocals were great, and really brought depth to the performance. Everyone was just awesome!
Very cool riffs by the two guitarists, as well.
Same. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about female vocals on this track but she made it her own.
@@myrewyneq Yeah, that was my thought exactly. But they definitely nailed it, and it wasn’t forced. I like that a lot. They all felt very authentic.
Loved it guys and you all keep rocking it !!
BE GOOD TO ONE ANOTHER AND ROCK ON !!
They are all individually incredible. That's what makes this unit so good. Please stay together because this is beyond awesome!!!!
Go.. go.. go.. kids.. OMG so proud of you all from Indonesia 🎉🎉🎉
What a talented bunch!!! All of them were Spot On perfect. AWESOME!!!
So polished and professional. These kids are amazing!
Ellen's Dad: We gotta get our girl introduced to Chuck Rainey playing with Steely Dan. So much good bass playing that absolutely carries the melody. I anticipate seeing some Steely Dan bass lines in future 'My Favorite Bass Lines' videos. (FM, Kid Charlemagne, Peg, etc.). You have a lovely talented daughter. Way to go, Ellen!
i see ellen and yoyoka as the new steely dan.
I'm 68, and these guys rocked me harder than I can remember.
Absolutely crushed it guys! Totally in the pocket from start to finish. 🤘🔥🤘
That's how you get to Carnegie Hall! WOW!
Wheres that? This is how you become a WORLDWIDE sensation! And the internet is where its at now for musicians to rise up and gain that following. Then, world tour, as someone just mentioned, filling stadiums! Hang on tight world, cause here they COME!
Good thing new talents with good musical taste are emerging, this reminded me of when I was a teenager and started getting involved with music
Oh, my goodness!!! They are amazing!
That was awesome guys!!! Waiting for the record…
Awesome! Everyone knows Ellen kills on bass, but that girl on guitar is really good.
are you kidding me kids??? amazing
Forget age, this is a good band, a very good band. 😎 😎
Just amazing! To say you guys rocked is putting it mildly... you filled this ancient 73 year old with pure emotion... rock is safe for another generation.
Ellen is a star already, but what's she gonna be like in another five years? Even Paco Pastorius would be sweating! The rest of the band are a perfect blend of talent too. Live long and Rock.
Perfect bass, incredible guitar solo, this version is as good as the original.
Kids who play a bass just rock my world.. Daaaymn
Ellen sounds excellent with Yoyoka!! Great band!!
Anyone else think this was going to be a cover of Def Leppard? Anyway, glad Ellen has a band now.
Goose bumps!
I was stunned!
Recognition to all of you:
1. The drummer: what a swing! what a clarity, what a precision of each and every beat! fascinated with your great dedication and effort in achieving that great rhythm!
2. The guitarist child! What a passion! what a commitment! I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart as the guitar is one of my favorite instruments!
3. The guitar girl! Oh my God! what a feeling, what a rhythm, what agility in your hands! thanks to life that you have chosen the path of music!
4. The chorus girl! I'm amazed with your vocal talent! how wonderful to listen to you!
5. Bass player... I'm speechless listening to you and seeing you being so professional in the handling of that instrument! You do all the honor to the composer of the riff of the song and in general your coordination with everyone!
6. My favorite, the lead singer! At first I thought the pitch was too low for your register! but, it can't be real! what a beautiful second chorus done in your vocal register! I was about to cry from the joy of knowing that people like you exist! It's an honor and I'm glad I'm still alive to have been able to listen to you! to all of you!
I send you a big hug and my best and sincere wishes that you continue on the path of music, which will surely give you much joy!
YOU GUYS ARE VERY, VERY, VERY GREAT!
O peso da bateria da Yoyoka-chan é incrível!
Congrats to the collaboration, amazing cover! 🥳 Thank you!
Outstanding. The dedication that these kids have is incredible. Natural talent is good but these people have been working diligently and consistently to perfect their skills. I am truly impressed.
P.S. Hi Ellen ❤
I went back & listened to the original and it's
official - this is SO much better !
All of you just superb! 💕💕💕💕
Ok Ellen, that was beyond great, but I expected that from you and Yoyoka. You both laid a foundation for the rest of this awesome band to stand on and look great. Who is that singer? Just wow. Backup vocals and guitars were spot on. Make sure you thank your sound engineer. They really did a good job as well.
Oh my God, this is INCREDIBLE...i have goosebumps, every one of them was AMAZING 👏 👏👏
