Seth is very patient so nice to see. It just takes time…

You should get him used of the halter and lead in the stable first as he would not have mulch room to play with

Hoping he is looking at back at this video two years later. Foals don't 'like' to flip over. They do that out of fear.

this is wrong in so many ways - not a funny/laughing matter, colt running, jumping, rearing and falling should have been a thought in your head before ever starting this mess. All of that panic, fear, etc. was unavoidable - no explanation needed. "NOT the most ideal?! " o good grief!

You go buy Buck Brannamans halter breaking dvd. You’ll get a hell of a lot better and you won’t have to blame their bloodlines anymore.

You have a fly issue there on that ranch, horses can not focus on the training.

Looks pretty scary when he falls down; nice to know they get through that none the worse for wear

I know, and honestly, it happens, it happens a lot more than people would like to believe and sometimes they bang their head pretty good and they don’t make it😬

      You don't know that..

  • @kristinabonebrake2902

Do you prefer to halter break while they have their buddies in the pen with them or to have them alone? In the video you had said the other two were already halter broke and used to human contact so does this make it more comfortable for the unbroken weanling?

    Good information.

I'm sorry, but you have absolutely no clue about pressure and the proper release of the pressure. "The harder they fight the quicker they learn"... are you kidding??!!! Terrible for the baby horse.

The foal is not ready to learn to be haltered. He isn't even used to get comfy near humans... I largely prefer how Warwick Schiller halters foals.

Anyone wearing a hat like that is automatically not allowed to touch my horses.
