These are not ufc's judges, the commission decides who are the judges

You make it sound with your "only in the ufc" type comment as its up to the ufc to decide who these judges are, whereas the reality is they have very little say and it is the state athletic commissions. You consider this a minor detail (since you call me a pedant)? Or am i a pedant again for pointing this out?

What a great bout this was an amazing 3 rounder. Disagree with the score cards for “30-27”, however another than that these gentlemen showed a fantastic display of MMA. 👏👍
the fact Damir can win with that facial tic is nothing short of amazing. InshaAllah he can get a procedure to fix it because every milisecond in a fight counts.
It was later announced that there was no "30-27" on the scorecard. Damir won by split decision as two judges had him up 29-28 and the third had it for Guram.
I believe the tie actually was for Guram and it was misspoken. Then 29-28 for damir and someone said 30-27 damir (which is ridiculous)

Five victories in a row. He is a very gifted fighter. He defeated Moises and Alvarez. Of the Kazakh fighters, so far only Shavkat is in the rating. Now, after this fight, I think Damir will also be in the rating. He deserved it. After a severe leg injury, he returned.

@@honorylealtad5596 Tony is still underrated. He was dominating Chandler, and also only lost to Dariush because Dariush is much bigger and Tony was clearly undersized for that fight. Ferguson is smaller than Holloway and Ortega, way skinnier

He is very hard to hit cleanly. Guram threw the kitchen sink at him and could barely hit him square. Incredible defense, awesome jab, and good wrestling.

Guram was looking so much better. I’m still trying to figure out where did 30-27 come from. Damir used his jab quite well but that was pretty much it. I’m not impressed with Damir, especially, after he was claiming that he deserved better opponent than Guram. We all saw the same fight.
Da it’s slip and jab was working, both were elite with amazing defense, offense, grappling. I thought Guram won too with more output, versatility in striking and mixing with grappling. He was chewing up damir’s leg, hit some body kicks, had some good strikes in there. Thought Guram won the first and third.

This is one of the baddest divisions in the ufc, I would love to see Damir fight another rising lightweight like Fiziev or especially the winner between Gamrot vs Tsarukyan.
No, don't match up these rising lightweights right now, better give them those older lightweights like Poirier, Gaethje, Chandler,maybe Tony (although they are gonna murder him) if he wants that. RDA vs Fiziev is a good matchup, old vs new blood, that is what UFC should do more.

Not really damage can be not superficial. You can get rocked badly or dropped and not have a scratch on your face. All you really need to know when judging who won a fight is in watching the fight and who got the bigger reactions out of who.
