I always respect it when looking at its torque. It’s literally on same torque level with ZH2 which has quite a lot more hp. And the bike is super lightweight as well

thats because the superduke is a torque machine not top speed, i love riding it, its a absolute beast but it lacks that top speed, got nothing over a hayabusa on that.
When i was bike shopping i was torn between the 1290 duke and the 890 R duke. I eventually went with the 890 R cuz i just dont need a superduke. I knew i'd end up getting in trouble with the super duke.

Ktm 1290 r comes stock with an electronic quick shifter which cuts efi power for a split second to slide into the next gear
