I think Sheridan is forgetting his Lucks is an AI
AI can’t have emotions themselves but can differentiate our emotional behaviour. Sheridan is his sole stimulus and source for information. However bringing all the other main characters allows him to diversify his knowledge because with Belle and Masa criticizing Sheridan, he’s kinda going “Are we the bad guys”, very slowly.
He may not be able to somehow deter Sheridan, but he sure as hell will understand just how bad Sheridan's plans are
The Lucks AI probably doesn't have any Lucks memories, but he's still an AI, and with proper training an AI can think whatever you want it to think
Maybe he's more than just a few lines of code floating around on Sheridan's server. We never did see what happened to Lucks after he was shot.

Maybe the plot twist is that AI-Lucks is what Sheridan could salvage from Lucks' brain.
That way Lucks could have a redemption arc
It also could be that Lucks is still alive somehow and just kept inside the simulation to be tormented and it’s slowly turning him around. Its a bit out there but Sheridan is nuts so I wouldn’t put it out of the question.

Why do I get the feeling the Lucks AI has a big part to play in whatever's developing here? Even now, he's having those brief but weird moments where it looks like he's reflecting on something or feels genuine alarm or possible remorse.
Could we be getting a sort of Lucks redemption arc here? That would be interesting, not gonna lie.
Or another “freak accident” and the lucks ai becomes it’s own individual like tari and Sheridan is left like lucinia

The fact of adding a new character like Petey to the last of the series is incredibly cheery that I really like Petey. Although, I kinda think that Sheridan has more twisted tricks up his sleeve. Can't wait for the rest!

I have a theory that might develop further in the series… when Tari was doing a transfer to Lucynia, i think the transfer was only partially completed with the gaming skill being taken away from Tari but not the personality, wich means if Tari wants her meta runner vision and power back…

At this point Sheridan's really being a lot like the Riddler from the Matt Reeves Batman movie in terms of being extremely unhinged. So it's good to see tari having some back up in time if the ending's any indication.

This is the best episode in this season so far, I have nothing but praise here.
The voice actors for belle and Evelyn outdid themselves, you could really feel the emotion belle showed when seeing lucinia. Evelyn as annoying as she is, has a wonderful voice and great lines this episode, the achievement line was very good and her laugh while coming out of the portal sounded like skull kids laugh from Legend of Zelda Majora's mask.
I love that they showed how Evelyn, Masa, and Belle's bodies look outside the warp, and that they explained and showed the downside to Evelyn's upgrades.
Something I was going to mention was how Tari was always rescued by her friends, but Evelyn did it for me and I think that's great!! They're foreshadowing the end of Tari's arc as a character! How she has to grow herself without the help of her friends, they aren't always going to be there to save her and she can't keep relying on them. I'm going to love see her finally get the strength of standing her ground, alone.
I think my favorite part of the whole episode is the art style of skybreakers, it's so beautifully stylized. Tari's eyelashes, the big eyebrows (I actually adore them), the eyes, the colors, the textures!!!. This is the most good looking videogame world they've shown, if I wasn't a fan and were to look at this without knowing what it was, I would think it was an actual multiplayer videogame. Lamar looks so good, and it seems the team really thought that too as Tari tells him herself. And Teo is adorable, as always.
Sheridan keeps getting better and better, I'm enjoying his dialogue so much more. And they're actually going to do something with fake lucks character? ( than make him a joke )as seen by the foreshadowing when he looks at masa and belle? Thank you!
I enjoyed the little bits of comedy, I think the joke I loved most was when Sofia said that Tari's body was in safe hands while the two guys run around carrying it. Also Kevin and Luke's cameo.
My only complaint is the fact that Lamar and the team didn't go after Evelyn, we can see she was easily overwhelmed as she was one person, she even flees. So why didn't they take that opportunity to take her down once and for all? It was the perfect chance. I understand Tari had no gear but I think Lamar, Marco and Teo would have held up against Evelyn. This is probably to keep the story on skybreakers, and explore the world More which I'm actually not mad about. Just wanted to mention it.
Honestly this episode was amazing, glitch team you guys outdid yourselves, I can't wait to see more of skybreakers!
Yeah another weird thing is that it came out at 2 instead of 5 like it usually does not complaining tho tht just means we get to see it early

Out of all games we have seen from the Meta Runner series, Skybreakers looks like the game I’d play the most

That looks AI Lucks had at the end... I wonder if Lucks was aware of Sheridan's doings and maybe found a way to somehow save his counsciousness just in case he got killed. He probably had a lot of enemies after all. And maybe that he'll team up with Tari and the others to fight against Sheridan.
It really was sad when this show ended, i'm back to just binge watch all of it. This is honestly better than a lot of mainstream animated shows, but this is by far my favorite you've made.

Episode 3 already, damn felt like it has been a whole month already, yet it was just 7 days to wait. The Story is still going to grow more as we can expect it. i posted a high possibility prediction below episode 2 already which is most likely tari and lucinia both being fixed in the end for a happy ending or tari gets killed for lucinia's re-awakening. OR the most expectful is that tari is gonna survive anyway because she is literally the main prime character of Meta Runner which is why she won't die at the end but lucinia still being resqued. KEEP GOING GUYS!
