- I've been wanting to try out Canoe Restaurant for the longest time but their hours of operation are very specific! They open for lunch, Tuesday to Friday from 11:45am-1:15pm and for dinner, Monday to Friday from 5pm-9:30pm. Weekends are reserved for private events and restaurant buy-outs. However, if you're lucky, they will open on weekends for service if there are no bookings but you will have to keep checking their website for updates.
Their tasting menu is $165/pp + tax and tip and if you want to add wine to your tasting it is an extra $100. There are 9 courses in the tasting menu and some items are available on the a la carte menu as well if you don't want to commit to all 9 courses!
The views from the 54th floor truly are beautiful but the best time to go would be during sunset (5-6pm) to get the best of both the day view and night view. We, unfortunately, went on a cloudy and snowy day so most of our view was obstructed by the snow. :(

Here are my ratings for Canoe:
Parking: 5/5 (complimentary parking in the TD Tower right in the downtown core!)
Location: 5/5 (close to union - 3-5 min walk)
Food: 4/5
Atmosphere: 4.5/5 (I did find it a little loud and it wasn't even at full capacity)
Overall: 4.75/5

Hi! Not sure why I would need to disclose any personal info but, regardless of where I work, I have to pay for all my meals like every other customer. I am not sure what this has to do with me explaining how each dish tastes! I also am not asking anyone to go to this restaurant, it is simply a vlog of my experience at the restaurant... which you might have noticed if you watched the full video. :)
