24:21 is when they start talking about cards
Doing God's work thank you
How to make a 1,5hrs episode about an unset 😉
Thank you
One thing you didn't touch on is Pair o' Dice Lost can return any number of lands from your graveyard to your hand, on top of the other cards you would choose to add up to your roll.
Excellent with fetches, cycle lands, deserts, etc. because they don't add to the X total.
I don’t think that’s how it works actually, because lands dont have a mana value.
@@Vexe They do. Cards that have no mana COST have mana VALUE of 0. See CR 202.3a
I get that infinity isn't for everyone. I was pretty disappointed with the eternal legal things they gave us. That being said in an episode called "Our favorite unfinity cards" there was a lot of negativity.
I'm not saying you shouldn't be honest about your feelings, but surely there were some members of the team who were more excited about the set.
I was in the middle of putting together a Vrondiss "dice rolling tribal" when Unfinity was released. Adding attractions, while not a main strategy, has helped add a free dice roll each turn once they're out and some of the effects are pretty cool. Hall of Mirrors triggering lets me make all my creatures into non-legendary Vrondiss for the turn. Then swing with all the tokens I have and dare my opponent to block.
Neither reason Josh gave is the actual primary reason they moved to the acorn stamp. It's a logistics issue of the combination of: the decision to make some cards eternal legal relatively late in the process along with the inability to print card of different border colors on the same sheet.
The primary reason is because they wanted to sell packs to commander players.
The printing one I don’t buy. Can’t have 1 sheet of silver borders and another of black? They don’t got the logistics for TWO sheets? Cmon
@@Emperorhirohito19272 they could but they'd need to make enough cards to fill 2 sheets which they don't have in the final iteration of the set.
The different borders has like 0 selling power as a point. What do they do with borderless or extended art cards, what do they do with full art lands, we know they already index cards so that there's a limited amount of certain chase cards so the numbers of cards isn't a real "logistics" problem. It's just ink.
They purposely made it confusing for new players and to sell to commander players; they kicked the burden of legality to us the players (having to know which ones have real non-misprint acorns) instead of printing silver borders
If they've got the logistics to do double faced cards and regular cards in a draft set, I find it hard to believe they couldn't do the same for borders.
I think the biggest thing that will forever impact EDH is stickers. The fact they stay on the card between zones is crazy strong with commanders, since they'll guaranteed keep the stickers the rest of the game.
Buffing voltron commanders or other stat matters commanders permanently with P/T stickers, adding abilities, changing your commander's card name so you can clone it easier; this is actually much more impactful than anyone's really thinking of or talking about.
The Ambassador is going right into my 5c Sisay Legend tribal deck, because there are at least 10 sticker sheets that have an 8+ power sticker, so I can guarantee getting those high P/T stickers every game, and thus I can use Sisay to pull out the Ambassador (maybe blink him once or more too) and permanently buff Sisay to be able to tutor up nearly anything from my deck all game without having to rely on +1/+1 counters / auras / equipment, not to mention the other ability stickers I could give her.
I'm also gonna put in Tusk and Whiskers, Myra the Magnificent, and The Most Dangerous Gamer.
I mean, sure, but even still the stickers themselves are just garbage, so you won't really want to keep track of them after about 10 minutes of playing with them. The actual stickiness of them is basically nothing.
@@noahcarroll4944 Physical construction quality of the stickers doesn't affect the playability stickers will have on the format.
What you're saying is kinda like saying "foils curl, so a foil-only 0 mana draw your whole library instant with no drawback would be unplayable"
Besides, there's plenty of other ways to sticker without using the garbage "official" stickers. Proxy counters, slips of paper, etc.
Pretty sure Lhurgoyf does not die, its toughness is 1+*, so at least 1.
Pair O'Dice Lost gets you as many lands as you want back, no matter the roll.
As long as you're running fetches this seems like a slam dunk.
@@dbroccoliman my thoughts exactly, read the card while they were talking and was just screaming to myself Lands!
Paired with the channel lands and strip mine I thought this was a solid cedh piece. Return it to hand with krark and there's got to be some storm combo or loop you can pull off
@@rhettneve5887 even cycle lands, basic fetches, and the tri-color fetches from capena. It's solid for budget Mana bases as well
for 5 mana, even getting 5 fetches back is really not worth
Correction on Magar, the only extra combat spell that works is Savage Beating because it's the only one that doesn't explicitly mention the main phase, given that the other ones do say "after this main phase" they don't do anything if they're resolved outside of said main phase.
Yep super important to mention. There is Savage Beating that works
Fury of the horde works too. You can’t cast a sorcery during combat. So you have to cast the copy in the 2nd main phase.
@@comsroknayt Shouldnt work because you have to cast it during the main phase. I found another one that could work. World At War "After the first postcombat main phase this turn, there's an additional combat phase followed by an additional main phase. At the beginning of that combat, untap all creatures that attacked this turn."
It’s says after this main phase. It’s says you can play the spell without it’s mana cost. Doesn’t say you have to cast it at combat. The token should have to be cast in the 2nd main phase.
@@comsroknayt With Magar, the spell is cast the moment the creature deals combat damage, meaning we haven't left the combat phase yet
comet can't go infinite because the combo is non-determanistic, so you can't shortcut and you have to actually play every roll out.
For Magar the only extra combat that works to go infinite is Savage Beating, the others have to be casted during a main phase. Also i'd also mention things that give double strike since you cast the noted cards with combat damage, so that would be 2 copies per attack.
Rage reflection, Berserker's onslaught, Clever riot and Blood mist are some that i would look into adding too.
Inf turns with rise of the eldozy
The fact everyone is forgetting about Clown Car: It's a 0-costed artifact!
it was a huge gain for magda
I haven't met someone who would say no to allowing Krark's Other Thumb
haven't met me yet
@@Bjoern_1897 why wouldn't you, the effect is already on a commander legal card. This just opens it up for decks that aren't red.
Set could use like 100% more silver borders.
Silver borders aren't legal in tournament play.
Got it in one!!!!
An interesting synergy with “Exchange of Words”: if you’re in a clone deck, you can switch a low value text box of your own with a great ETB of your opponent’s and then get it a bunch with all your future clone effects. A bit niche, but a fun interaction.
Pair o' Dice Lost can return any number of lands no matter what you roll. That might be relevant if you have some fetchlands/utility lands you want to get back.
When I first saw Saw in Half, I just thought, this card is strong
When I saw stickers, I thought they were dumb until I figured I could (If I wanted to, which I have not looked at spoilers enough to have found any cards I want to run yet) just use my re-usable token instead of actually putting stickers on my cards.
That's not how stickers work
I love Jimmy’s vibe this episode 😂 “I have no idea what you just said.” LOL high school physics flashback! ALSO - Saw in half your opponent’s Phage the Untouchable (not that I know anyone who runs one in a 99).
I also know Maro mentioned that mixing black/silver border wasn't possible for printing purposes as each sheet would have to be completely black or completely silver and there wasn't enough distinct cards for each to be able to be printed on a silver sheet vs a black sheet
I hope Jamie is staying hydrated. I could hear his mouth crinkle when he spoke. 🤣
The decision to make some cards in this set eternal-legal and remove silver borders was made way too late during development of the set. It wasn't possible at that point to properly set up silver border and black border print sheets.
I think you're overthinking this and make it sound more complicated than it actually is: Acorn at the bottom = Not legal in Eternal. That's it. You wouldn't care about whether there is a foil stamp or not in any other set.
Built a commander deck around the new Zur. Plays stuff like nefarious lich to get gross value off the lifegain enchantments then play cards like exchange of words or wrong turn to donate the time bomb to an opponent. People can really make some fun wild things happen with exchange of words, definitely needs more love.
Starts at 4:08
A hero this one is
There's a bunch of cards in this set that are legal, that care about rolling dice that I want to get for my Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients Deck, I renamed it to Rolling Dragons. I think the name is very clever :)
I would get a penny sleeve then put the sticker on the sleeve and then lay the sleeve on my card.. good way of reusing stickers and not damaging the actual card.
I think the replacement of the Silver Border with the Acorn stamp has really exposed a divide among commander players. Some of us play it because it’s a casual format where things are looser than the more competitive standard/modern/pioneer. Some people play commander with a competitive spirit, even if it’s not “cEDH”. Personally, I actually think most Silver-Bordered cards from Unglued and Unstable wouldn’t be too out of place if they just had a black border. Stuff like “Fowl Play”, “Growth Spurt”, “Crow Storm”, “Shellephant” wouldn’t be out of place in a black-bordered set.
I’m surprised y’all didn’t mention Embiggen (for a single green mana, target creature gets +1/+1 for each supertype, card type, and creature type) because it’s seeing play in Legacy Infect (inkmoth nexus gets +5/+5). I’m also planning on getting the Merry-Go-Round attraction (creatures with power 2 or less get HORSEMANSHIP) for my Alesha deck (where most creatures have power 2 or less).
Keep in mind that you if you want to use attractions then you have to have a deck of 10 different ones. I don't think variance is on your side if you only want to use them for 1 ability since you need to get that one out and then have to roll to use it.
@@kurowasanabe High Variance? In a singleton deck? Whomst among us hasn’t imagined a sick combo that we almost never pull off because we’re playing a Highlander format.
Its 2023 and this set is still worth it to me. The lands❤❤❤
Using exchange of words on your own Blighted Agent and Ghalta seems pretty sweet LOL
Myra has a lot more to go on :D Rise and Shine, Urza , Cyberdrive Awakener, Shimmer Dragon, Veyran to open two attractions and others
I love Clown Car in Winota. Makes non human, Crew it with Winota for another non human
Pair of Dice Lost, you can return all lands from your graveyard
You pretty much did touch all cards that I thought were good or interesting for this set
Saw in Half is the more powerful. My favorite is Starlight Spectacular
so the question is what happens if you exile an attraction? Can you Pull from Eternity it to the graveyard?
55:00 I was wondering when they were going to acknowledge that about Comet.
The most annoying part about it is that it's not a guaranteed infinite, and I mean ever. Unless you have a card that allows you to choose what number (which would be 6) over and over for each activation, you will have to roll each amount of dice each time, and literally prove that you will roll a 6. It would be fine in a dice _rolling_ deck, but it's more of a finite combo, and not an infinite one.
Not only that, but am I wrong in thinking that Josh was incorrect about the "half a million times choose this..." part? Wouldn't you have to do what number you land on, and not choose one of that number or lower? I haven't read the wiki on Comet, but that's what it appears like; otherwise they would have stated something like "Roll a six sided die. Choose an ability less than or equal to the result."
It's still a crapshoot which number you would be hitting besides the recurring "6" if you did get it to combo, and with Barbarian Class effects, you are much more likely to hit the 4 or 5 ability, which would _lower_ the loyalty on Comet more than the 6 ability is providing. You would need to hit the 6's twice as much as the 4's or 5's!
I have a feeling i'm not the first to think about this, but to ensure that you would hit that 6 enough to combo effectively, you would def need a guaranteed more than 4 effects like Barbarian class. I actually don't see it as that valid of a combo piece in dice decks, unless you have a full board with protection.
Question;
Can you use exchange of words to give your commander’s text box onto another creature then flicker your commander to have double commanders?
No, because "commander" is a quality of the specific card. It isn't part of the rules text.
@@snakeman830 I mean like if your commander does something, you’d basically have double the triggers from “double commanders”
Yes and no. To summarize what everyone has said already:
- Whether a permanent is a commander or not is an attribute of the card, not the permanent. A permanent is a commander if it is represented by a commander card. (If the permanent is represented by multiple cards, as when you mutate something, it is a commander if at least one of those cards is a commander.) So, for effects that care about whether you control a/your commander, the answer is no.
- The effect of Exchange of Words does _not_ end (for the other permanent) when one of them leaves the battlefield. Therefore, you can keep the switched effect on the other creature after your commander leaves the battlefield. If all you care about is the effect on the creature, you can have it twice.
- The same is true if one of them stops being a creature: the text-changing effect does not end. Go wild.
You could use some kind of creature that has abilities to build a lot of +1/+1 counters quickly and then exchange abilities in that make good use of said counters. If you have some way to flicker that enchantment then you can change the targets and thus make use of counters on another creature.
I love Attractions, but I'm a little lukewarm Stickers. I probably won't be playing any Sticker decks, but I've already built two decks that play Attractions. I only wish there were a few more cards that open Attractions.
I wanted to love the stickers soooo bad, but they just dont stay sticky for long making them tough to really use. I like the attractions though. If anything i wish they were a tad stronger but its probably reasonable to be more cautious the first time around. My playgroup rule zeroed a few things. Namely I am running Form of Approach of the Second Sun, instead of regular approach of the second sun. I think itll just be a more fun version of a kinda unfun wincon. We also are testing out the Rangeling land for us since they said it was only acorn to save legacy, and I have a deserts deck that wants it bad.
Josh's gollum ad was better than any episode of the show.
Hah.. just the other day I was thinking about using Saw in Half on my own Wurmcoil Engine
I could see Starlight Spectacular being played in a New Capenna Commander given that the Cabaretti have a focus on creating a lot of tokens, the Imperium deck from 40K or even a Human Tribal because of its color
I'm into the Attractions for a mondo rando jank tier 3-4 deck, but the stickers are dumb. If my group is okay with rule zero-ing them into counters and I make some modifications, they can be a maybe. But I won't put stickers directly on my cards or sleeves.
I’m surprised that they didn’t mention that pair’o’dice lost can get every land from your graveyard into your hand.
Just started watching the ep, but gonna leave it now: the reason Wizards couldn't use two different borders is related to the printing technology, as the decision to make some cards eternal-legal was made too late to actually rearrange the sheets in a way that would allow you to do that.
But yeah, the thing about removing the stigma of "not real Magic cards" is there, too, which is pretty obviously if you had the displeasure of following the discource around the set in any way.
Starlight Spectacular now really makes me want to build Jetmir!
Myra is nuts. If you put extra turn spells under attractions that have a 50% chance to hit you can go nuts with extra turns. I hit 3 in a row with an Expropriate under an attraction. Needles to say the game was over.
my new Deck around Excelsior: Giada's Gift seems insane with Exchange of Words. Giving a creature near Permanent Loyalty Abilities is awesome.
I love Unfinity, it's one of my favorite sets. Beautiful lands and new eternal legal mechanics. I'm interested in attractions in 5c, with Garth one eye. Can't wait to see the Unfinity game knights episode.
I hope when they do an unfinity game knights episode they actually make the unfinity mechanics the focal point of each deck
Ain't gonna be one, unfortunately. Just wasn't in the schedule for them and Wizards.
I love Magar because he welcomes a lot of "unplayble" cards in commander (Worst Fears, et al), but he is a bit problematic because he poses a lot of rules traps that all players in the game should understand:
1. Copies of his puppets (ie. face down cards) will NOT copy any cards because they didn't note any cards themselves. So forget about cards like Heat Shimmer. Take note that this also means Exchange of Words will not allow you steal the free spell of his puppets.
2. Extra combat spells that mention "this main phase" will not work if you did not cast them during your main phase - they will simply not generate additional combat phases. Make sure you use cards like Savage Beating instead which does not have this restriction.
Pair o’ dice lost can get back lands so that’s great if you need that for your deck.
for the stickers i have decided to just sleeve up the sticker cards and use colored glass tokens and place one on the sticker i want and the other on the other card and match the color to that sticker glass token that way i don't end up with sticker cards pealing and damaging cards or being stuck trying to get stubborn sticker off my sleeves because the stickers will not stick back onto there sticker token card as they were before.. ruining the card in my eye's.
My Table is treating unfinity like we do all other silver border sets. It's not legal, if you want to play a card you gotta ask the rest of the group if it's okay to play.
Has anyone in your group tried to run a Grimlock deck?
@@LadyLunarSatine no, we haven't.
I should probably say that Vedalken Squirrel-Whacker and Exchange of Words do _not_ interact how you think. The whacker does not die.
The ability that sets the whacker's power and toughness is a replacement effect that sets power and toughness as the creature enters the battlefield, and as such, it is part of the creature's copiable values (rule 613.2a, layer 1a). Exchange of Words creates a text-changing effect (called out directly in the rules, 612.5), which applies in layer 3. Therefore, the power/toughness effect will apply before the textbox exchange is applied.
EDIT: it _does_ kill most other creatures with similar abilities, though, because those abilities apply in layer 7b. It's only specifically abilities that create copiable values (because they are replacement effects for entering the battlefield) that get applied before the exchange. For instance, Ashaya dies to the exchange.
My dice rolling deck of Wyll loved this set.
Vorthos. Just would've been fun to play a weatherlight themed deck that doesn't have to use 5c sisay as the commander but that's not really a flavor loss I just would've loved to play the crew members for colorless mana
Starlight Spectacular in Adeline
Exchange of words+death's shadow is really good
I'm building an Extus, Oriq Overlord deck hiding Feather the Redeemed. Spellslinger aristocrats. Saw in Half and Magar are perfect includes in there.
you should invite remy for a game and maybe some singing lessons XD
would love to see remy play a game with you
i dont get the stickers. they do to much and are hard to understand. trying to explain that to a player group who has no prior understaiing of the mechanic will not work its to much
I feel like they missed the forest for the trees on Pair O Dice lost... it returns all lands and cheerios and whatever you roll. Krark thrasios combo piece? Perhaps...
Are sticker sheets permanents? Can you blink them? If you can do they enter with the stickers back?
They aren't on the battlefield or in the game in any way. They exist in the same space as, say, dungeons.
Stickers only exist on a card in a public zone, so battlefield/graveyard/exile/command zone. Even more simply, so long as all players can see the face of the card the sticker stays. So if they go back to hand or library or are exiled face down the sticker goes away.
So in answer to your question, if you blink the stickered card to exile and back to battlefield the sticker stays.
Ixidron may now be known as the bane of stickers.
The sticker sheets themselves are not objects in game rules terms. They exist as "nontraditional cards" in the command zone and have no way to leave it. (The rules say that if a nontraditional card would leave the command zone for any reason, it doesn't.)
Thank you for the kind replies! 🫡
If you go red, blue and green you are already spoiled for choice in a dice rolling deck.
My first thought and fair play thought with Saw in Half is Wormcoil Engine.
With the text swapping card, swap the text of champion of lamholt with a 10/10 or something big for immediate unblockable creatures. Or swap Marwyn the nurturer with something with a lot of power for mana creation. (I believe she makes mana based on her power not her +1/+1 counters, but I might be mistaken in which case it's not as good)
32:04 cast it on deaths shadow to kill it depending on its controllers life total. Or on their phage to make them loose.
Or on one of the gideons who are immune to damage rather than having indestructible as creatures, then so the copies die after transforming back due to having no loyalty.
Or on a creature with a static upkeep cost.
34:00 how do you repeat saw in half it has to resolve to split the mage.
You cast Saw in Half _first_ and then cast Dualcaster Mage in response. The mage enters the battlefield, and the ETB goes on the stack, targetting Saw in Half. The copy of Saw in Half targets the mage and resolves, creating two mages. They both enter the battlefield as 1/1s, and both ETBs go on the stack, one targetting the original Saw in Half (still on the stack: the copy resolved; the original did not) and the other one targetting whatever else you want. So at this point you have on the stack something you wanted to copy, then Saw in Half, then the two mage ETBs targetting both spells; you also have two 1/1 mages on the battlefield. Thus you can present a loop.
Saw in Half is bait card to make sure commander players will buy this set even thought it is widely hated.
Many cards printed in magic make copies of a creature as a 1/1 like Croaking Counterpart Donal, Herald of Wings Endless Evil Nightmare Shepherd etc. But they are mana hungry, slow, exile original creature so you cant abuse it or some other drawback. This doesnt ... they simply make stronger version of this effect and released it into unset instead of standard set. Making half power/toughness into half doesnt really make it unset card. Most blue clone cards are worse than this clone card - killing the original creature is usually benefit so you get die triggers, you can reanimate the original again etc.
Dauthi Embrace is an amazing card for Magar's spell creatures. Gives Shadow for 2 mana.
Glad you took 20 minutes to explain the mechanics & which cards are legal in the set. I still don't think its worth it in Black Border Magic, but hey... I guess people really enjoy Rube Goldberg machines?
Man they did Myra the Magnificent kinda dirty. I had a game where I took like five turns in a a row thanks to her. Its loke a slot machine for explosions and value.
"there may be some misprints" Jimmy says in reference to the acorn/oval markings. A minute later he mentions seeing one in prerelease. And the Command Zone has absolutely seen the reddit posts and tweets of misprints have been pulled with the wrong foil symbol.
I know WotC sponsors this show/channel, but don't pretend that WotC didn't drop the ball on this Un set. Call them out on their mistakes so that they'll do better in the future!
This set is AWESOME and stickers are not complicated. At all.
doesn't make them good for the game, 5 years from now good luck getting the stickers
You need two extra piles of cards for them to fully work. One for the stickers and one for the attractions that give you tickets that you can use for better stickers. Then you need cards that let you put stickers on things and cards that let you open attractions. Also if you want to use those attractions you have to roll a die and get the correct roll on it in order for you to activate them at all. It's a whole mess of things just to do a silly thing. Also they barely stick on new things after you used them once so it's something that will get harder to use as time goes on.
Stickers stay on unless sent to your hand or library. So im playing a graveyard to battlefield and power and toughness sticker deck. With the most dangerous gamer green/black.
I really wish "Far Out" was not an "acorn" card because it just seems like such a sick really niche card that could manipulate modal spells and I'd love to play a "modal tribal" deck of sorts. I mean its not even a weird effect, especially compared to some of the other stuff that they made legal. It might even be an interesting spellslinger combo piece. It just woulda been a really cool card and I wish they let me use that over some nonsense like "Pin Collection" aka sticker lootbox equipment :/
Ya know what would be really cool? A modal tribal effect on a commander. I'm thinking something like Magecraft - Whenever you cast or copy an instant or sorcery spell, If that spell has modes you may choose one extra mode. So for example with something like Mystic confluence you would get 4 instances of the 3 choices of effects instead of 3 (Because it specifically mentions you can choose the same mode more than once, and for something like "Temur Charm" you simply get to choose another of the 3 options, instead of just one you get 2.
Pair of dice prolly pretty good in hydras, lot of either 6 or 1 or 2 mv bois
Magar can not go infinite with most extra combat step spells as most say "after THIS main phase" and the copied spell is cast during combat damage step. To my knowledge the only one that truly works is Savage Beating.
This must have been fun to make too! 🤘🦁🤘
I actually built a Myra the Magnificent deck. She does really well at FNM, and on monday night commander. Also a Dee Kay die roll tribal. Dee is a very casual fun gimmick deck. Myra is the more powerful deck.
Comet seems like it would be better in go-wide token decks rather than trying to make it a janky combo. The three effects are all good, and sometimes you get two.
So CZcams went ahead and labelled this as Hearthstone? That's kinda insulting.
Edit: Just because the card 'Heartstone' is mentioned at 30:23...
Pair o' Dice Lost can always get any number of lands out of your graveyard, regardless of dice roll, so that has applications.
No mention of the hilarity of sawing a Grackmaw in half? Nowhere near the most powerful thing to do, but it will still raise eyebrows when you start with a 3/3 Grackmaw end up with two 3/3 hydras and a 6/6 Grackmaw.
27:34 worst fears is not a valid target if you cast it since you exile it. You need to discard it an if destroyed on the field than its exiled anyway.
People are so against attractions, which are basically tokens with abilities, but are ok with dungeons and day/night?
Magar removal turns. Needs at least a grixis commander to work but reanimate extra turns and murder spells to unalive your opponents
I think Exchange of Words might be good to avoid the legend rule? So, switch the text of Adrix and Nev, with an insect token. Then make exponential tokens of the upgraded insect. Provided the switch is a copyable effect...
Text-changing effects are not copiable. (Rule 612.5 says it's a text-changing effects, and the rule 613 defines the layer system, which puts text-changing effects at layer 3 and copiable values at layer 1, making it clear that this is not copiable.)
They really should have made a Heritage/Legacy (ala Risk, Pandemic, etc...) style rule-set for this Un-set
Where the stickers stay on cards between games/rounds and have some kind of leaderboard/checklist/bingo-sheet for different achievements that play-groups could print and sign for bragging rights.
It wouldn't interfere with the Draft aspect of Un-sets, but would be a much better fit for the stickers/Attractions deck.
Cube exists and made be a great idea. I like the idea of being locked into whatever the stickers are placed upon the first time.
I want to exchange of words a stonecoil serpent and a sage of hours. Is it good no but it's kinda neat.
Will you be making a Game Knights video for the set?
Hey, so I love this channel and I love magic the gathering but I recently started also playing pokémon the TCG. Is there any other channels that are similar to this one that make similar content explaining how they play? PS. Love all of the content. Been a big fan for a long time
If I play using stickers I'll just tell people what sticker I'm using without actually peeling the stickers . Wouldn't wanna ruin the cards or run out of stickers
My favorite unfinity card is saw in half because Getting four etb triggers with saw in half in my Yarok deck is so silly
24:00 hey, it's free artifacts.
Exchange of words with Slither Blade and the Ninjas that say when ever a ninja then X. But I guess their are easier ways to make ninjas unblockable.
Pair of dice is a deceptive gitrog tech card… you can return Every land in your graveyard to your hand Plus some spells = to the dice roll!!
Pair of dice lost**
just use the stickers for your phones laptops and water bottles hahahhaha
saw in half on my own Wurmcoil Engine 😋👍
Exchange of words:
Go for managorger hydra and then the 1/1 unlockable infect dude 😎
Not using stickers at all , but I want to try attractions.
I hate the oval, acorn, or nothing situation because there's numerous cards built around stickers and attractions that seem to be legal but probably shouldn't be. Plus I got one of the collector packs and it came with an unglued card with an oval sticker but a silver border cause it was from a past un set and I didn't notice and couldn't tell for the life of me whether it was legal or not.
I do love Space Beleren.
it was great to hear the sticker explanations, as well as the opinions about acorn cards. I can't wait until Mark Rosewater leaves Magic and tells us how much he hated this change for commercialism.
You think he hates this change?
For Myra, would Power Conduit let you put extra spells under the same attraction and get around the midway counter clause?
I'm eagerly looking forward to trying out Myra as commander, especially with the strong synergy with Urza, Galazeth Prismari, and Shimmer Dragon! Throw in some sweet cards like Storm the Vault, Echo Storm, Mizzix's Mastery, and then maybe Replication Specialist and Mirrorworks for double attractions. Burn the OPs out with Exalted Flamer of Tzeentch, Pink Horror, Brazen Dwarf, Thermo-Alchemist, Reckless Fireweaver, etc. Once the attraction army is built up via cantrips and other fun spells, Cyberdrive Awakener or Rise and Shine overloaded can bring the circus to life to finish everyone off with a sweet animated artifact combat win. Also, I have been dying to put Feywild Trickster in a deck and it feels like a really "fair"/not overpowered home for the card. Yeahhhh, Myra is gonna be sweet :D
Yup. Removing the midway counters will let you put multiple spells on the same attraction.
