I’m continually impressed with the preparation and talent on display as the overall performances are elevated each year. Thank you, Prairie, for hosting this impeccably run event!

Hey I saw that some comments were hating on this show, but don’t listen to them! These kids are incredibly talented no matter what style their director leads them to!!
I think the director is doing something right. They have won 14 straight competitions and 22 out of the last 24.
One of their best yet. The show takes an interesting turn at the 3rd song, about 7.5 minutes into the show. Interesting arrangements, fantastic choreo, and the ensemble just nail the vocals. Linn-Mar is just fantastic.
Absolutely AMAZING!!!! Loved the ending too...the anticipation buildup was a nice touch! Bravo👏🏼

Love will get you further in life than trying to feel better through insulting others. Nice drum solos though!
Dont get me wrong i love 10th street, but it is more of a musical. They win first place no doubt in a musical catergory. But this is show choir. You dont see 'Show choir" using props and face mics do ya?
in fairness, the second place finishers also used props and face mics. 3rd had moving set pieces and fans as props as well. I think it’s okay as long as they’re their to enhance the show and not just there because they can be
@kaitlynburco9059 The word "Show" literally means "a play or other stage performance, especially a musical." And the Show Choirs of the 50's and 60's were very much like the musicals of their day. Musicals have evolved and so has show choir.
props and face mics are literally always used in show choir...and this is a show with singing and dancing. that's all show choir requires. adding dialogue or other things doesn't change the fact it's still show choir
lol what. Several show choirs have used face mics at this point. Musicals and show choir are so connected. A musical is a show. A show choir is a choir putting on… a show. With clear rising and falling in the show structure, often a conflict and resolution, and a clear beginning, middle, an end, whether by story telling, or simply the pacing of the songs and choreography at least. This is often why so many people that do musical theatre either do show choir simultaneously, or have done it before. The styles of performance go hand in hand.
