Kobe, Tracy, A.I., and Vince were different animals back in the early 00's.
all offsprings of Jordan & all of them on offense played with that same killer mentality as Mike
And Jesus Shuttlesworth
Your so right can't forget about Ray Allen
Sessssss
The problem was the voters voted all of the original 50 in and just added 25 more. Ideally some of the original 50 should have been replaced. And there are a couple who were voted in prematurely. Grant Hill should definitely been on there too.
This is the most relaxed vince looks on a podcast, usually he is all proper and business like in his convos, good work knuckleheads
A lil Hennessy goes a long way.
Vince jumping over the 7 foot 2 guy, in game, in the Olympics, was the most amazing dunk ever. Shame ESPN doesn't have the footage, so its not shown often
Perfect timing on this drop, I’m at the dealership getting my car serviced 😭 y’all know how that be
They’ve come thru for us so many times haha
You might be able to watch this twice the way they work at the dealership.
45 min oil changes
@@17bynum17 😂😂😂
This nigga going to in there forever, you still there bro
Vince needs his own podcast , cause he can talk his ass off and still be interesting
Yes. He’s really well at telling His stories
He gets You there
Even the basic stuff , You can feel it & see it. 😁
Big facts! I’m not a fan of current players with podcast. I’d rather listen to a retired player talking about his stories instead of someone talking about their last game.
The first question is incredible and sets the tone. D & Q are killing it!!!
Cosign, that might be the greatest 1st question of any sports podcast.
Love the way Vince describes his dunks. The imagery of him doing the 360 windmill and realising that after the spin he was looking at the rim and was therefore high enough to windmill the ball is what I call a Dunker’s Joy. At that point you know you’re gonna kill that dunk.
Q-rich with the “fuck you” lol lol . Classic
D-Miles hit Q with the James Worthy dunk. Lol 😆 🤣 😂
Killed him right in front of Vince 🤣🤣🤣☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I laughed at that too because that is the most basic dunk ever. 😆
Lmao. 😂
That shit had my dying.. DMiles was eatin Q ass up n this one 🤣🤣🤣
Hilarious!!! Two Potnas Clowning On Each Other. Gotta Respect It!
Nahh when dmiles said “yea I got the chance to play wit my oldest BOY” n then tapped q I DIED 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Lmao
Darius: who was the first person to bust yo a$$
Vince Carter: Calvin Cambridge from Like Mike

I used to watch Vince catch oops from half court when I was at Maryland. It was like watching one of the x-men play basketball. There's been no one like him ever.
Giving Knicks legend their flowers...Love that T-MAC (Allen Houston), and VC (Latrell Sprewell) mentioned OG's. Get these guys on the show!
Yes!
Allen Houston look like manny from scar face
“them james worthy ass dunks” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Congrats on the 100th episode, D miles saying Q Rich had James Worthy ass dunks had me rollin 😂😂😂
Shit was hella funny 😂😂😂
Probably the greatest in game dunker i have ever seen 🏀
D miles and Q jabs towards each other be having me weak lmaooo
LOL funny. D-Miles said Q had the James Worthy dunks. ROTFLOL

Vince Carter the Living LEGEND!!! 🇨🇦
If u watch Knuckleheads consistently, you know DMiles be on Q top bout dunking. 6:18 - 6:26 was one of the greatest moments in their podcast history LMAO.....simple but golden
The dunk on Mount Mookie (Blaylock)
Hilarious
The way Vince laughed 😭😭😭
James Worthy mad af right now lol
Vince and Tracy should have definitely been on the 75th Anniversary team!
I agree.
straight blasphemy
More so Tmac than Vince. But no way.
Vince,TMac,Dwight,Adrian Dantley and Alex English should've been on that list. I still don't see how Damian Lillard got on that list.
@@dloc6198 yeah Dame hasn’t done enough in my opinion but I respect his game
When D miles said " you played in four different decades" I fell out laughing lol and i don't know why but wow he made vince sound ancient..
Congratulations on A Hunnid! ✊🏿😎✊🏿
Vince is the ultimate adapter. Dunker, scorer, shooter, #1 guy, backup guy, glue guy, last shot taker, and now broadcaster. The man don't miss!!! (Nike Shox were my first hooping shoes tooo)
Q and Dmiles reminds me of me and my homies same kinda relationship and same interactions 🤣🤣🤣
Could not have said it any better 👌🏾💪🏾
Him and D Wilkins were the ones to adapt from their inviroments..gotta learn from Kenny Sky Walker
This is the interview we always waited for love Vince Carter 🙏🏽
The reason I love this podcast and others like All the Smoke is because of the stories of guys I grew up idolizing. Hearing Vince tell the Georgetown/Darwin Ham story is just great, man!
Top 100! Salute to Vinsanity! And a major salute to D Miles and Q💪🏿💯💯
U can tell VC loves basketball and is passionate about his craft. He loves talking basketball with other players.
Being from Paterson, NJ and knowing the dominance Tim Thomas had on high school basketball it’s crazy to know Vince could of been a teammate of his wow!
Tim Was The Class Of '96...Vince Was '95 👌🏿.
Would’ve been crazy
Both are better than D Wade
@@NellBentley1 Beyond crazy!!!!!!

" he wiped his whole ass with that windmill" 😂😂😂
Happy 100th episode fellas! Been rocking from the jump and I want to let you know that I am extremely proud of you both. I can see the growth as interviewers as well as men! Keep up the great work and please stay authentic! God bless y’all!!!
People will not understand how exciting, legendary & popular Vinsanity was from college-2002. KG & Kobe were my favorite players but his jersey was the 1st one i bought. There was no one like him in the league...instantaneously he became a star in the league his rookie year. If only he would've used those ups to be more of a shotblocker & been aggressive minded, especially on defense...he lacked toughness too but you couldn't deny his superstardom. Unfortunately, he was a 2nd option superstar out of his role, meaning his talents were great yet not enough to carry a franchise...would've loved to see him link up with either KG or AI but Toronto was the perfect atmosphere for him
He must like y’all. This the most he’s went in depth in one of these type interviews for him
That NBA brotherhood man. They understand each other.
As a Raptors fan since 95. This one was a goodone..much appreciated. That Dunk contest really put the city on that map 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Vince is MJ to the whole country 🇨🇦 ❤️
30:22 " I learned how to play the game and that's what kept me around for 20 something years" A lot of guys think its just about athleticism. Many guys played in college but couldn't play in the pros because they don't know how to play.UNC back then ( Dean Smith/ Roy Williams ) taught you the right way to play and prepared you for the league. Its not a coincidence MJ is arguably the GOAT.
Dean Smith was the best thing for him … he said that jumping and dunking is great but you play defense or you sit…. I met a guy who played at UNC before VC was there and he would always go back … I asked him the craziest thing he saw VC do … it was touching the top of the backboard
Yo! I was in the FAMU M100. Vince came to our practice cause his lil cousin was there. MANNNNNN we had his ass DYIN LAUGHING!!!!!! We didn't gaf about his basketball life. We let him know this is HBCU BAND LIFE!!!! ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿❤❤❤
🐍🐍🐍🐍
The NBA was so focused on Jordan and the up and coming Kobe, this is another rare talent that got looked over. The League can have multiple Stars You know!
Coming from Fla Vince was really a Urban legend…there was not a more dynamic high school player than Vince he put Daytona beach mainland on the map…all through Florida people used to talk about his games I saw him once in a tourney and still can’t believe he was in high school 😤🤷🏾♂️‼️
I played JV at Mainland when he was on varsity, and our games were standing room only at halftime to see him play.
@@floridaboy386 that shyt was crazy I went to Dwyer my older cousin played against them in the Kruel classic that shyt was like a NBA or college game had a section just for college recruits that shyt was crazy

This was straight uo the best interview i have seen with vince and i have been following his game since the jump . This sitdown by far the best i have ever seen . Love this channel
My guy half man half amazing!! My fav player of all time 😁. I grew up in Vancouver in the late 90s - all we got on cable were the grizzlies (they couldn't get people to go to the games for free), raptors and glimpses of the other 28 teams when TSN would run the highlights. Thanks for being the only exciting part of my childhood
Vince Carter is half man half amazing! I still remember him dunking over Frederic Weis. One and done with the NBA Slam Dunk Contest... Never forget!
Everyone better remember or they haven't watched basketball
@@BigBen1994 Word!
Top 75 hands down. One of my favorite episodes. Love the show!💪🏾💯
VC looks 30 years old so he started in the L at 8? Awesome Ep guys thank you.
So he started in the L at 8? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. My fav. player loooks super young👀.
Yo 6:07 - 6:20 The “James Worthy ass dunks” is a classic troll omg 💀💀💀😊
Nobody would have guessed Vince Carter would outlast his peers the way he played when he was young. The man was in every NBA Top 10 plays of the week.
Vince was a great player no doubt, I love seeing him in a setting like this where he can be himself and talk hoop, made me appreciate him way more than I did before, much love from down here in Australia
The conversation so good I had to stop to go to watch the dunk contest again 😆 57:20
Love how Vince can switch from professional analyst to hanging with the boys.
VINCE CARTER!!! King OF Dunking. But also put Toronto on the map. Made their first playoff game. Salute Carter! Q always make it about him lol when he get the talking.🤣🤣🤣 Knuckle heads all day!
Another good ass episode. I never get tired of the OGs telling their stories. 💯💯💯💯💯💯
I prefer the old school players over the current. Current players are still in progress
Best dunker of all time and Crazy from deep too. My favorite player man 🔥🔥
I’ve never been as excited to see this episode
Half man half amazing one of the dunkers of all time 💯
Who's better

Congratulations, Gentlemen. Your podcast is the best basketball interview platform. Continued success.
The Blackest One be KILLing Q on the dunks….”Them James Worthy dunks”….😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
This podcast is the best NBA podcast because it doesn't feel like an interview, AT ALL. Just homies chopping it up, reminiscing.
One of the best dunkers of my generation…..
"The Best"
All time
Vince is just so special on and off the court!
I grew up as a kid and started loving basketball loving the Knicks. Gotta see Spreewell, LJ, Allan Houston, Charlie ward, Chris Childs in these podcasts.
Vince, JKidd, TMac, Dirk & Dwight? Damn!🔥
Salute to the best interview team out there. Here’s to 💯 more.🥃Yak!
Might be one of the best 5 I've seen/heard on this podcast.
Congrats on your 100th episode "The Players' Tribune".
This episode is gonna be a good one
Vince was/is one of my favorite players of all time…dude had handles, layups, DUNKS( greatest in game dunker IMO besides MJ and a few others obv…playmaking, and a low key jumper+ longevity💯💪🏀 had a poster of VC too on my wall. Good ole days
Great interview love these early 2000s stars get stephon Marbury on there
VC's impact on toronto/canada cannot be measured. If you ask all the canadian players in the nba they always say that VC made them want to play basketball. This man single handedly grew the game of basketball in canada just from his playstyle
Vince was the reason a lot of us here in Toronto/Canada fell in love with basketball, especially growing up in the early 00s as young kid
Vc dunk contest is way more iconic than him potentially winning a ring on any team he was on.
Dunk contest been trash since that moment lol
Please get JERRY WEST. While he still alive. The stories he had gonna be epic!
Need a 2-3 hour jerry west episode fasho
Vince carter played a major influence on the kids here in Canada! I had the shoes, arm band, headband on everytime. Thanks for your contributions and influence VC!
Worked harder got my flow down I’m like Vince Carter when I throw down. My guy right here…
That air Canada dunk is one for the ages and put him on the map. They will be replaying that chit 30 years from now. That elbow in the basket speak for itself and cements him on the map. Don't sleep on career 37% from 3s. Pleasure to watch that brother play, especially in his prime.
He's like the 3rd or 4th player that mention Sprewell bussing ass, I hope they get him on the podcast
best dunker ever, hands down! Hall of famer! Absurd he did not make it top75! True legend, watch some old games of his
I love this podcast channel. Q and Darius are so chill and Vince is awesome in this. Catching up on a lot of the other sit downs with these guys.
V. Carter you and T Mac helped make that Championship, and man how I love this Show!
All the scorers who played in the physical era can score 60-70 points trust me. Kobe, MJ, Iverson etc.
Vince Carter was my favorite player - by far - growing up watching basketball. He instilled the love of the game in me. But I'll always be critical of him for not playing out his potential, and injuries or not, he never became a great NBA player, just a great talent.
It’s been 100episodes already??? Seems like just yesterday y’all was talking to AI, Congratulations 🍾🎈🎉 💯💯💯
Fasho
This man is top 50 player all time in my book!!! From 1999 to 2003 this man could not be stopped!!!!! Facts!!!
C'mon man don't lie to ya self it's ok he's top 100 that's great
Great interview with Half Man Half Amazing..... VC was a problems back in this prime dunking on everybody!!! We gotta get Lamar Odom on the podcast so I can heard those Clippers stories back then
Jamison was my fav player as a dubs fan, he was so underrated
I went to see a game he played against my lil cousin’s in high school. The dude came out last out the locker room, and started warming up by dunking hard asf, back to back, to back. They win the game before it started. My cousin’s team had their mouth opened the whole warm up, they got they ass beat 😂😂😂😂
Vince Carter is the Goat for me...
Definitely one of my favorite episodes!
Enjoyed this conversation very much. Always have been and forever will be a Vinsanity fan. Great job Q and D.
Vince is top 75! Idc you gotta bump someone off that list
Great interview .. the best basketball podcast by far!
Vince was one of thee most Adaptable Players in NBA...Ever.
“What’s wrong with buddy?” 😂😂😂 yea Vince is for sure a Florida boy
Cool hearing about his college days never really knew about it.
How Is That?!!!
lol too focused on the dunks I guess.
The best 5 I’ve ever heard anyone say. Dwight, Dirk, TMac, VC, and Kidd/Nash…sheesh!
Thanks for this episode. Q and D keep getting those OG's! love this
This was a dope interview with a great legend, Vince Carter. Love the intro music on the show and ending as well. Great job Q Rich and D miles. You guys are Great.
There have been some great podcast from you guys but this might be the best one. Vince's story is just great to hear. I love it!
I'll never forget Michael Keaton's facial expression when Vince did the elbow dunk lol
Congrats on the 100 episode!! I love how you guys stay on script. It would be so easy to go down a rabbit hole with your guests. I never knew Vince Carter played volleyball.....that's crazy. Looking forward to episode 101.
This episode about to be a banger! Vinsanity the GOAT dunker
Now yall need to get Gerald Green. Dude used to jump so high that he has a partial digit. Resulting in his finger getting in the iron loop that holds up the net. I did the same thing but I grabbed the rim with my left hand before my descent.
💯
100th episode this was PURE #BALLISLIFE
Great interview 🔥🔥 love seeing Vince in this light!!
