The Beetham is opposite one of the country's landfill, you should see other place on the beetham and smell is to really have a understanding

Also, please do not try to bargain or barter everyone and everywhere! The people are poor, struggling, and suffering, and you shouldn't always try to take away from them!

You see even in the so called ghettos of Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 the standard of living is high even much higher than some middle class islands/ countries.
Well Trinidad is a high income country so people make more money than most of the other island states except Barbados and the Bahamas

Omg, the streets are so freaking clean! Even in the best of neighborhoods, you do not see this cleanliness everywhere. All I can say is wow! There is nothing to fear. The people are just friendly and welcoming❤❤❤

You sound like one of those typical people who seem to think a plane ticket is everything. WOW, you’re flying out so you should be grateful and when you reach your destination all you can do is sit down on the verandah and call that a good holiday! In Shane’s case walking about in ghettos. If you can’t afford to entertain them, don’t send for them. Dee is the sponsor so should know how it goes. If I’m going to sponsor somebody, I would make sure they are all set up with everything to make their experience enjoyable and give them something to write home about. @donred1693. Do not talk like that. I am not Trini, I am Jamaican. I was not a rich Jamaican. However, I had never walked through the real ghetto parts of Jamaica. There are caribs who live better in the islands than people in NY. This is the reason why a few, including a Trinidadian & a Jamaican I know, returned back from overseas to there respective homelands, and remained there.

Dee just because you didn't get hurt or any crime done to you and the people was nice to you does not mean everything is normal like you say. I am using wisdom here not hating. You can not mislead people. I ran the streets and grew up in the ghetto here in the US, and I know a rough place with high crime when I see one, and the locals know the issues and amount of crimes in their own country, you can not just ignore them.
In the US, I will show you the dangerous areas in my home city that I survived but does not mean it is not a bad crime area, and I am in the South one of the biggest states for friendliness and hospitality we rank #15. There is good and bad areas everywhere, and most crimes happens at night. And even though the guy told you it was bad you kept saying it's just a normal place.
Most areas are crime areas because they are ignored, can not get the help with infrastructer to beautify the communities, financial assistance, jobs, proper schooling, drugs, alcohol and being imporvished. I know I grew up in such areas, we were poor, and the crime was heavy, not as bad as now but bad. It is the system more than the people that impoverishes them and ignores them.
Tourist are rarely hurt in Trinidad and Tobago. Ghetto people are people too, not everyone who lives there are gangsters. The gangsters are the problem
