New sub. This is a great idea. And cheap! I have a lot of boxes that I get from my inventory/supplies I use to make my handmade soaps and we often end up throwing them out or burning them. Our little spit of yard is really rocky and aside from a tiny patch of soil near my front porch, I've been unable to grow anything on our property all the years we've lived here. I'm getting some raised beds this spring, but I'm going to do this for some potatoes and sweet potatoes I want to grow. Thanks!

You can plant more per box. Also, next time leave the top flaps and push them down inside to help your box retain as much strength as possible. Try bush beans in the boxes too.
That's a long process, but I hope it works well ! Looks like you work well with one another. Go to your local co-op, they should be selling seed potatoes by the pound...
