Checking out Universal's NEW Mardi Gras Celebration Food Festival for 2023!

- In today's video I make my way back to the Universal Orlando Resort to experience Mardi Gras International Flavors of Carnaval 2023. Universal did invite me out for a special event that way I was able to show you just about everything that you need to know and see. I start at Pat O'Brien's to try some of the food samples and let me tell you they were absolutely delicious! For the next stop I head to the new cursed coconut club in City Walk to sample some adult beverages, give you a tour and hear from Universal creative about this years festival. Next we make our way inside of Universal Studios Florida to check out the tribute store which is in an all new location this year. I also walk around the park to discuss some major park updates and of course I try some more food dishes before hopping on Transformers for a quick ride. Finally I close out the video with the 2023 Mardi Gras parade. Thank you so much for watching, if you enjoyed this video please give it a big thumbs up!

I went on opening day and just love Mardigras. It's one of my wife and mines fave event. Wow didn't know you knew the Pugh Crew. You definitely need to do a collab. Another great video!!!

Just got back from Universal yesterday and was there for 2 days. The food was great, especially the gumbo. Was spot on. The only disappointment was that I couldn't get into Pat O's both days I was there because of special events. Now I know why...lol

Great video as always Dev! You gotta get that King cake whoopie in the tribute store. They had it last year and my youngest son who was 13 tore it up in a heartbeat. He let me try a bite, and OMG, it was out of this world!!! Side note, he's NOT even a fan of sweets, so that's gotta speak volumes.

I went to Mardi gras 2 weeks ago. I tried 8 different food items and they were all pretty good! I hope I can get into a parade float this year, it was full online, I'll try the app next time. And the tribute store was not great....
I was super disappointed in the tribute store. It’s incredibly small. They really need to bring back the older one. It was way bigger, more rooms and we better themed.

Canadian here, you haven’t had proper poutine until you’ve had one in Montreal! Just saying!
Just think Mardi Gras there is the same old, same old.
This have to be hands down the worst food year they have ever done. I get that you get to eat it all hot and at once. I went on Monday, it was dead and all the food was cold and flavorless. They “sold out” of the barbecue brisket poutine by 12:25? The one thing that universal is absolutely not good at is food. Marking it as eat around the world with part time staff who have no care at all what they are doing. Food is a labor of love and it really shows there is none. Every single place I had something from I waited over 10 mins after ordering and it was the same everywhere. One of the 3 items on the dish wasn’t ready while the other two have been sitting under heat laps…. Sorry for the rant but if I’m paying over 10 bucks for every place I go and it all is bad it just makes me never wanna eat from there again.
