It may not be a raw damage increase in terms of pressing a button and then seeing a number on the screen, but the term 'damage per second' literally implies that any increase in your ability to DO damage, be it decreased time in between attacks, attack damage, or attack animation speed, etc, is an increase to your DPS. I don't know why people are struggling with that concept, I hear it a shit ton as well
It's called "I-frames", Also guarding with offensive guard, also being unable to be knocked out of air-born attacks, Why would I ever waste slots on Earplugs?

I started with GS, moved to LS when it came out, and then to CB when it came out. Defensive skills are a crutch. And crutches are only supposed to be temporary.

Atm i'm dealing 1k dmg with a true charged strike crit...while you do 3k. that's a 3x difference. but you make it seem so easy tho. my Brachy backsteps everytime I try to charge an attack and then destroys me :')
I haven't ever gotten THIS this far into the game, like fatalis safi and raging brachy and stuff. HOW did you just sit there face tanking its slams and the explosive gunk on the floor near the end? You straight up just, didn't take damage
the slams and slime on the ground at the end is its phase transition, not an actual attack. i believe it can still hit you but the hitbox is very tiny. the puddles on ground stay and become part of a later attack in this phase
His nova doesn’t do any damage unless your basically inside of him. Also Where I stand there aren’t any blast puddles so I don’t take tick damage either
when the monster does the special clagger animation, you can claw onto the monster which makes the stun last longer (intended for you to tenderize during the extra timeframe but you can just claw and immediately drop instead)

Yea brachy is an annoying fuck haha. Make sure you put crit skills on ur build like crit boost and weakness exploit. Ur damage will be better
Earplugs arent a dps increase... They increase damage uptime, which is just as important
