  • Only God can remove the stain of guilt from our souls. In this message, Steven Lawson analyzes two themes that saturate the book of Job: the radical corruption of man and the necessity of God’s grace for the salvation of sinners.

🕆 Matthew 11:27-30 (Jesus declared)"All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.,.”🕆

I found Job the most difficult book (so far). For 1 thing we have the words of Job, his 3 friends, Elihu & God, & only God is telling the whole truth. The rest speak part truth & part error. Likewise in the NT, when the Pharisees accuse Jesus of using the power of Beelzebul, they’re maliciously lying. So what is technically meant by infallibility of scripture?

Infallible is without mistakes so when the Bible is quoting what someone said it does just that. Even when Satan is being quoted while lying!

Agreed. And I’ll just add that context usually makes it pretty clear which parts are the truth. For example, in Job, after he says that the Lord is the one who has brought these things upon him the inspired writer tells us, “in all this, Job did not sin with his lips.” Regarding that statement as 100% true.

They are. John refers to himself as "your brother in the tribulation". The church doesn't escape the tribulation it goes through which is why it's shortened for the sake of the elect.

Not true. The beast makes war on and CONQUERS the saints. If you refuse to take part in the truth, the beast will not be threatened by you, and THEN you will remain in the land like the rotten figs of the book of Jeremiah.
The beast is the US establishment. Kings 1-7 are Reagan through Biden, and Trump is the 6th, and will be the 8th soon, when Mike Lindell performs the "miraculous" restoration.
The two witnesses are the Last Adam and Eve, given to eat of the tree of life which is in the paradise of God. The name of the new Jerusalem is the City of David (the white stone with the higher name is a Holy weapon to slay the goliath of nations, the US).

Does that mean we’ve been going through the tribulation since the first advent of Christ?
