If it comes up with no cd all the time that's a pain plus no cd player. And u need a blank cd to use aux.can u not join a few wires from the wee wired harness that came off the CD player part. I sure there would be combo u could work. I mite look at this my self

The chip is a TDA7348, the data sheet shows that the left channel is the one closest to the back of the unit.

Bombadore Garage why bother those factory head units are garbage , remove the thing and put in a 2 DIN system , one I bought was a pioneer $439 on eBay , it has DVD/CD , and has applecarplay so I can pair it to my iPhone , and can connect up a rear view camera with a Aux port , a aftermarket system is going to be far better , also remove all the factory speakers as they are low quality gutless things , and put in a decent 5 channel amp and sub , probably cost $1,000 why fuck around ?

    Hi there
I performed this mod on my crewman stereo but ran into a problem. It works kind of but as soon as a track is finished on my phone, which was what I was testing it with, it starts playing the music of the cd and it won't resume until I switch it all off and restart it it's almost like as soon as a gap in the music from the phone is detected it defaults straight back to cd music
    Any ideas?
