It must be something for your shots to go where you want them to pretty much every time. This video is how I envision myself playing, on the drive to the golf course. On the drive home I really can't remember anything except for how great the cheeseburger was at the 19th hole.
That being said, your videos are a great help to me for learning how to at least plan my shots.

Hey Gen I've been watching you for about 4 to 5 years now. It is great to see you playing in a tournament. But it's hard to aim towards the left side of this area you have an absolutely beautiful swing great to see you take that to a competitive setting. Living your dream.

@@GenevieveLingGolf we heard Sunrise greens had had some troubles with their greens this year (it looked like they were using a lot of the Temp/ alternate greens for your round.)

Listening to you I could tell you didn't have the best round, but you can tell you learned a lot about the course this round, which is very important. hopefully this may cheer you up, my buddy posted a picture of a tee box that he was playing, right away I recognized the course and it took about 2 minutes to figure out the hole, funny thing is I played that course so much when I was young but haven't played it in close to 20 years. He was surprised I got it right away. just trying to cheer you up after a tough round. You are playing great and not every round is going to be perfect, just keep trying for perfection.
Some of those holes looked like they were ribbons of green in Jurassic Park. I half expected a Frilled Dinosaur to come bounding out of the jungle...I hope your luck is better in subsequent rounds.
Hi Gen, always nice to watch you playing ( and keeping your mood.. ) Seems to be a rather tough course, so congrats to your first round. But what I've wondered about are the greens. I would consider them unplayable for a tournament, at least partially, seemed to be freshly sanded with tons of sand on it 😮.. And to have to be waiting 45 min amidst a round to tee up doesn't shine a very good light on the tournament organisation.. But keep your faith, I wish you the best!

Observers often underestimate just how important driving is to set up the approach to the green and your swing initially looked a little forced. I'm sure you knew this. Slopey greens looked tricky.

It would be nice if the camera followed the shot instead of staying focused on YOU after your approach shots... but much appreciate the camera work nonetheless, James!! Nice playing Gen, despite the greens!! Sorry to see your final results... what happened on Day 2? Also, I'm surprised to notice you were the only Malaysian in the field?
Gen, keep your focus on next stroke after your current shot. Emotion on check so that next stroke matters more. No point reacting to unsatisfactory shot. Putting still your weak point

The green condition in Taiwan is a joke.
Paid $150 for a round in Taiwan but the green is even worse than a normal muni golf course in the US.
Is it windy a lot of the time there?
Yess almost always in Taiwan. Especially cause a lot of the golf courses are up in mountains!
The greens look horrible. Aerated? Best of luck, have fun!
