Tom is correct about people don’t make much of an effort today. The benefit to this is it is now easier than ever to stand out and look good.
Don’t forget to sit in your Mahagoni Office wearing suit, tie and a gold watch, while polishing your shoes. It is mandatory.

Shoe shining is a new art for me , thank you tom, I learnt a lot from you how to properly polish shoes
I no longer buy new shoes. I go to second hand and thrift stores looking for a old pair of good quality shoes. The last pair I got was a toe cap in brown and bought them for 5 bucks then brought them home. They needed some TLC but I broke out my shine kit and started the process. Shined them gave them the love they needed and they look great now. People there is a way to look good and enjoy nice things. You just have to do the work and be willing to put in sweat equity. I got a pair of floorshiem loafers the same way. I took them to the cobblers to have them polished and have them half soled. Now I have a great pair of quality loafers at a reasonable price.
