- Here is a look at an afternoon in our life living in Mexico! We go the kindergarten to clean up, Dominic gives us a tour of the school playground, we go to the Housesite and then head home to make some BLTs. Enjoy and drop your questions below!

So cute to see Dominic’s tree, but what I was surprise at was him mentioning piñons because those are a big thing with Diné people (Navajos) and I don’t know if other tribes like them as much but yeah. Just surprised me. Oh and about the monkey bars lol I remember them high high off the ground. And I know they were to high because when I went back to the same school after high school they had the same playground and I was like how did we not get injured. Then again our generation was just smarter lol.
Another perspective. Private schools in Mexico City are very different. When we drive our 3 year old to school, we enter through large gates with armed guards. We line our cars up, many with drivers, bodyguards and nannies. Then the teachers and assistants take the children from the cars and escort them to class. I was very shocked by this when we first started going. I grew up going to public school in the US. But here all private schools have very strict security.

‼️Please put the floor cleaner in a different bottle. I heard a horrific story that a child in my husband’s small town in Mexico drank cleaner that was in a Gatoraid bottle and had to have surgery because his throat burned and almost closed up. Just some advice out of care 💛
Candace, please be careful with cleaning products in beverage bottles. My husband's cousin came home after playing and took a big drink from a Coca-Cola bottle filled with sosa. He died of his gastro intestinal injuries. Please be careful. It just takes seconds for tragedy to strike.

, te felicito, es lo mejor que podemos hacer, yo en USA soy al revés, les enseñé español y son perfectamente bilingües, hablan, escriben y leen en inglés y español, es trabajo pero vale la pena
When I was in middle school in my school in Mexico our teacher would rotate us (my classmates and I) every week to clean our classroom. So 3 of would clean the classroom for a week and then the next an other 3.
Agriculture is very difficult in Mexico. Well, certain parts. My dad has planted many different thing and out of 7 years of his agriculture journey in Mexico, he has only had 1 good year. He’s slowly trying to pull away from it 😕

I can see them kids in school speaking or understanding English when they grow up... when i was a kid one of my cousin move to mexico from USA and we used to play fighting and he show me how to say you wanna fight, I still remember, you can say those were my first english words.
