- Jade Jagger talks about growing up around artist Andy Warhol and other artistic geniuses like her father Mick in this candid interview.
Daughter of Rolling Stones lead singer, father Mick Jagger, and activist mother Bianca Jagger. Jade has taken the fields of style and design by storm. She has her own fashion line 'Jade Jagger' and her own high end jewelry line 'Jade Jagger Jewels'.
In the area of real estate, Jade has partnered with Philipe Starck and John Hitchcox of the Yoo property design firm. The first Jade Jagger for Yoo project was an apartment complex (The Jade) in New York's Chelsea district. The spectacular building has a total of 58 units and features tiered terraces, a lounge, fitness club, reflecting pool, and outdoor soaking tubs.

i couldn't agree more! jade has class intelligence and beauty and was taught by her father to work, work, work, for whatever she wanted. mick doesn't just hand everything to his kids just because they have money and didn't spoil his children like so many celebrities do. so many celebs are so arrogant and entitled to what they have and here you have somebody who actually has her head on her shoulders. that's to be admired.

I think her and older sis Karis are close. I can imagine they all get along. I have never heard negative things.
Before you criticize Jade I want to point out she was a FB friend of mine. Very nice lady. Her parents ensured as normal an upbringing as possible. Mick is a very conservative Englishman who ensured the safety of his offspring and stressed good behavior.
Please don't think I'm stupid. Does FB mean Facebook? I don't have an account, so I'm just assuming. God, I feel like an idiot having to even ask that question!

Before Jade, Sir Mick also had another daughter in Karis (who was born after Mick left Marianne Faithfull but before marrying Bianca), whose mother is fellow singer Marsha Hunt. He claims he knew nothing about her (although his first married wife, Bianca, says _she_ had) until two paternity suits were filed against him (in 1973 and again in 1978) by her mother.
If true, disgusting. A man with that much money not assuming a financial responsibility for children he has fathered seems less than human. My grandfather was like this, apparently. On the other hand, there are opportunists who will pretend such things are true when they are not. I think of the Rolling Stones as iconic, while finding some of their lyrics psychopathic, so this seems to me like something like he might do. It is novel for me to engage in celebrity gossip. :)
A bit like Rod Stewart, who had a daughter before he was famous, and she tried so hard to get him to acknowledge her existence.
This has nothing to do with being a famous rock star. My own grandfather did similar things. He left his wife and children when my mom was 6. She later learned of several half siblings. It is sad for the child. Yet my mom still had a happy childhood.
