- In this video you will see how to install the GRC interior of the Traxxas TRX-4 Ford Bronco. Be prepared to make some adjustments if your car already has a Traxxas LED light kit or BEC unit installed. The GRC mounting kit is carefully modeled. For some reason, the screws were really tight to get in place. You need to turn the screwdriver really hard.

I just put the trx6 Mercedes interior in my g63 and g500 and them floor boards seem to be the same as the ones for the g500/g63 if so on that interior the power block for the lights mount up under the driver seat that's what the square hole is for.

Looks like a pretty nice kit, I’ve been checking this one out for my Bronco. The only downside are the seats that look a little too modern for a second gen Bronco. Otherwise, looks good! How heavy is it? Does covering up different modules impede cooling?

It’s true that the seats seem to be from a different decade. Too bad I didn't weigh the parts before assembling. I would say less than 100 grams. In the summer after a long bash, I got the temperatures to rise to about 50 degrees Celsius (122F). Usually these crawlers run slowly so I don’t think there will be any problem with the heat.
@@RCCrawlingFinland Thanks...I also have a metal roof rack on my Bronco and I just wanted to see if this kit would make it more top heavy. Kinda sucks that the seats aren't low backs but a minor gripe, the rest of the interior looks right for a second gen Bronco. Reference the heat, a cover may trap more heat in but again, I guess I could always add an extra fan. All in all it seems like a solid, well built interior kit.
This GRC interior has mounting points for fans for both ESC and Motor. Even has a mounting point for a servo that can turn the steering wheel! Just put this interior in my Bronco and it's amazing!
So I did end up getting this kit, in red for my rainbow Bronco ;). Haven’t put it together yet, but very impressed with the build quality and detail....especially for a sub $100 interior kit after comparing it to the much more expensive 3D printed kits. I may try to turn these seats into correct lowbacks, and matte clear spray some of the more glossy interior bits. In any event, I weighed the unassembled kit, came out to 279 grams, heavier than I thought it would be but still not too bad....seats probably weigh the most out of all the pieces ! Can’t wait to install it, I think I will run LEDs into the dash as well.
The optional red interior would have looked nice and went with the red on the body.
I also considered the red interior but somehow I ended up ordering the beige interior.
Can u give me some info about the beadlocks? Are they waterproof (does the water get in the tires) and how much do they cost? Thanks for answering
