- Back from Scotland and finally having a play with Chicago Downtown DLC for OMSI 2, looks pretty cool and the first official American Map for OMSI. I drive along Line 124 from Union Station to Navy Pier. Enjoy!

New Flyer is a Canadian company, we have a lot of their buses here in Seattle, too.
Ahh so new Flyer is Canadian? I thought it was American! I’m in Canada aswell, Ontario is my province and I see a lot of D40LF Buses Pass My house
In Finland in the beginning of the summer it gets dark around 10-11pm but in mid summer the sun never gets darker. But in the winter it gets dark around 3pm and the sun rises at 9am.

I live in chicago and take the bus every day. The seat are actually quite comfortable, but the are made out of plastic. Some later models have medal seats.

Qwerty Afro some of our new flyer xclesior xd40s here in NYC use similar (if not, the same) seating models. Not only are they comfy to sit on, but they have spacious leg room :)

New Flyer D40LFs were some of the buses I grew up riding. Still a few floating around where I live but they're more rare, typically relegated to the more rural parts of the network (the parts that make due with old crap) and only seen on the main lines as relief.
Sadly its been many many years since a D40HF was been in service where I live. Those were my kindergarten memories.
***** You probably would have hated the old Flyer Trollies then. I personally loved them. They were delightfully decrepit full of odd noises and puttering sounds.
You can still see them in outdoor shots of old TV shows shot in Vancouver 15-20 years ago.

Qwerty Afro in Singapore the Mercedes Benz citaro buses also have the plastic seats which I agree its very very uncomfortable.

This is so cool. I'm really thinking about investing into buying this game. I like the idea of starting a full shift and then your last shift is you returning back to the garage. Very realistic in that sense. I didn't even know there were any Let's Players that did simulation games. Glad I stumbled upon your channel Qwerty. You earned yourself a new subscriber. I hope you eventually get to do the 130 line. Would love to see more of Chicago Downtown.
+ChattGM thanks, if you do invest yourself into OMSI 2 just to let you know when it works its fantastic but when it doesn't it can be a pain of a games, its just unstable sometime as it can show a lot of bugs but its a good game overall.
The only reason I haven't covered the 130 is that my game crashes every time I try to record it.

QwertyAfro Your welcome. Oh alright thanks for the heads up there Qwerty. It sure looks fun and a great experience. And okay that's understandable I'm part of your American subscribers and I just love those types of buses so I figured I ask since you mentioned it in the above video but it's all good I don't mind all the other routes that you do :) It's a great way of seeing what's out there and the differences other parts of the world have.
And I'm most certainly enjoying all of your videos. They are quite entertaining and a joy to watch :D
Who has a baby
Night park is just so you can run the electrics, such as lights for passengers, on the bus at night without the engine running. Also, the turn signals for New Flyer's are operated on the floor so that the operator can keep one hand on the wheel while using the door handle.

The Seats On the Bus Are Pretty Comfy I Use My City Bus For Transportation And They Look like That Too In Canada
The Chicago buses r so messy, but have a lot of stuff packed into it. I was also going to say it reminded me of Watch Dogs too, good game.

And the card that they were scanning is called a ventra card
The subway in Chicago is accutally almost all elevated that elevated railway track was it and there also an outside announcement it said on your route it said "number 124 Navy Pier"
The heat wave sucked especially Wednesday I needed to go down to town to get some new 50£ pounds sunglasses because my other cheap ones didn't do anything!

The seats of the bus are very comfortable and I believe the bus is a 5100/5200 series NABI Low Floors 2005 NABI 40-LFW
Please do the other route with the articulated bus.
Happy to see North American maps and buses, would like to see a map for Canada like Vancouver where I live with Vancouver buses including articulated trolley buses.

Qwerty Afro There were also concept fuel buses with different coloured stripes for the different kinds of fuels, somewhere between 5 and 10 years ago. They never drove any routes as far as I know.

IK this is an old video but the seats are not all plastic, the blue is plastic and the black part is a little flurry but is comfortable.

There are some bus stops in London that are really close to each other but 20 m between two stops is kind of pointless because it's less than half a minute walking distance.

+QwertyAfro yeah, this is the second one I'm trying to watch. I had to stop the first one because all you did for the first 5 min is talk and just left it on the open screen of a game. Way too much talking while nothing is going on. Anyway, not trying to be rude, just something I realized pretty quick so I imagine others have too.
