@@stevemeurer1436 I love the Yokohama tires I tan two sets on my 80 , I have them on my 85 toyota pickup and had them on my 78 series. my wife loves falkens and I do too she talked me into the falkens this time. I think the Yokohamas are a little taller and narrower in this size but I’m happy with what I got for sure
Howdy mate from all the way over here in Australia, I’ve just done or in the process of doing exactly what you have done , just sold my 80 and looking for a clean troopy.. whivh I may add is proving tough . How do you find the ride on leaf springs up front champ , on highway driving ? I know it won’t be as comfy as the 80 coils or round but wanted to know your thoughts , any info would be fantastic.. cheers champ
Where did you get the 24v to swap in?! That is toyotas best diesel dropped into the toyotas most versatile cruiser ever. Mouth watering stuff. Never ever sell that truck. Eccept to me.
Enjoy the design process & build part of your journey - I always have. Is the width of the bed in your rig the same as the bed on the Alu-Cab Canopy Camper? (just looks narrower)
The bed platform is 48 inches wide on the Hercules conversion which is narrower than the camper style it’s determined by the width of the top on the Land Cruiser
Sweeeet Troopy, 6:39 Jason! Thanks for the walk around
Troopys have to be the best overlanding vehicle and this one is 👌
I always said the only Land Cruiser that would take place of my 80
Would be a troopy it’s hard to believe it’s sitting in my driveway
Id love to restore one of these and hopefully get a early 78 series with a 1hdfte
This thing is wicked
Good job
Awesome new ride Jason! Can not wait to see more videos of it in action! Steve
Thanks
Was also wondering, why the Falkens over the Yokohamas? Glad you are feeling better and will be getting out with the Family!

Awesome Rig
That's frickin awesome. Is this the model that has a different width rear axle than the front?? And if so did you or are you going to fix it??
They did the wide axle in front when they put the v8 diesel in them mine is still same width axles on both ends
