- Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is facing calls to recuse himself from cases before the high court involving former President Donald Trump after reports emerged of an inverted flag flown outside his home in January 2021. Ball's in Roberts' court. He needs to handle this quickly. There never should have been lifetime appointments. These people need extensive vetting, term limits, and penalties for ethics violations. Alito & Thomas need to recuse or retire. The fact that they have not shows their lack of ethics.

Whenever judges are appointed to the supreme court there will always be s division in the country. All judges should be elected to the court by the people. Only then can a judge deliever a verdict based on the law not on his or her affiliation to a party.
