A friendship between races and religions is stronger than hate
I can't barely stand it to watch, so much emotions on both actors.. So real.
What made this scene heart wrenching for me was Jackie's acting.
It appears like he was very emotional that he actually chocked up at 2:30 but improviced what followed.
Reminds me of Denzel's(Equalizer) dinner scene and the missed receipt.
Jacky and John both were awesome in this. Both are my favorite.

The tone of this movie is ALL over the place. It goes from rumble in the Bronx comedy style to straight of Game of thrones tragedy and lose. Kind of took me out of the movie time to time. Good fights and decent dialogue and message.
I love the movie. It reminds me of naruto. This movie is about two of the strongest empires meeting each other, sharing their culture, lifestyle, knowledge etc... It is also about friendship, love, power, brotherhood and the unbreakable bond between huo an and lucius, both representing the Roman empire and the Chinese empire. It show us that we are all equal and together we can make a world where people can smile with no fear of shame, humiliation, discrimination and evil. This movie contains lots of sad parts, including the death of lucius and the child along with his master.
We shall meet again 😭

He still have his body armor.. the arrow might not penetrate enough to kill him straight away or might bounce off the armor

If you are good enough to hit the braingstem at the point where it enters the spine, then the shot is an instant kill shot. Your body is shutdown before it realizes its dead.

Rookie so who tortured a man and left on his armour..... that should have been the first thing they took of him.... it’s stupid that he dies like this with his armour on even though he is captured and beaten as they would have stripped him of weapons and armour before chaining him up

Bektor Z Quickest kill, shooting his neck would sever his spinal cord, killing him within 3 seconds. Also, it is far easier hitting his neck than one of his eye sockets.

Shooting him in the throat would not have killed him right away. He would had suffered first trying to breath lol. Unrealistic, he should have shot him in the heart or head.
A headshot may work - but the heart shot would likely fail, since Lucius was still wearing the thick armor which means the arrow wouldn’t be able to pierce through that…

Why in God's name is John Cusack in this movie and furthermore, how I the hell did he get top billing BEFORE Adrien Brody?? Maybe I am the only one who feels this way, but I can't help it. :/
It is very hard, actually almost impossible, to kill someone instantly by shooting an arrow to the neck. Blood vessels to the brain are not that thick and spinal cord is very well protected from the front. Not to mention it takes disruption of the spinal cord on a very high level for immediate death. The best way to kill your friend quickly and painlessly with a low-kinetic projectile, such as an arrow, is aiming at the heart.
He was wearing a strong armour....I don't think the arrow can Pierce it

@@benjaminpaloczi2707 no he's right tho..the Roman costumes and formation were inaccurate. Although I liked the song, lux romae, it's just latin words strung together. It doesn't make any sense.
