M Dunleavey unfortunately my tutorials are 25 minutes long because I do step-by-step instruction! If you look through some of my tutorials you probably will fall asleep😂 but I do this because I’m so tired of the beauty gurus and their movie magic and they cut to the next scene and everything is different you cannot learn anything from these people and this is why I do it even though I have people complaining how long and lengthy and detailed it is- People want the microwave version they can watch the beauty gurus

I did this look tonight (with browns instead of purple) and ….. wow. I am 46, love love love make-up … but have never seen a transformation on myself like I have tonight. The dark eyeliner at the end? A revelation. My husband - who usually wouldn’t notice if I had a large, purple poodle on my head - commented, which is … unheard of. Thank you for this brilliant tutorial, and looking out for us older birds who still have something to offer. You’re just amazing ❤️

Your eye shadow tutorials are the best on the internet. You make it easy as opposed to making it look easy. Also, most you tubers have larger lid and especially brow one space and their looks are going to look totally different on someone with average or smaller eye space. You have my eyes! Thank you!

I have protruding crepey 44yr old eyelids. This is the eyeshadow trick I have been needing my whole life. I have light green eye color and love how this made your blue eyes pop!! I get compliments on my eye color and like to use liner to make them stand out but never use eye shadow for my “big eyes” as I don’t want them protruding anymore or look like a raccoon. After all the beauty community drama i just kinda reverted back to your channel recently and its like im learning all the basics all over again and i love it. I love just sitting here and doing these makeup looks before i wash my face before bed, im not going anywhere but its fun to just practice.
I have been a makeup junkie for about 2 years now, but never really mastered eyeshadow! This is such a great video! I have big eyes and today I learned they are deep set because whenever I put shadow in my crease, I can never see it. For a while I was confused because I have all this eye space and couldn't even see my crease shade lol

What a great tutorial. Just wanted to note that it's so important to use a good eyeshadow. I have a large pallet of beautiful colors but the pigment just isn't there. The more I apply and blend the more it just doesn't show up. Get good quality shadows and it makes all the difference. 👁️👁️

If you follow the technique, they might not match. My eyes have slightly different shapes and sizes but I'm not worried about it being a little different from once side to other. No one ever notices and each eye looks good and not forced to be the other, lol
I try that but it seems like makeup just makes it more obvious

I think it would look great on a monolid...you could really draw on the shape you want and create a subtle or dramatic crease depending on what you want. I don't have a monolid, but my eyes are very hooded and can't wait to try this technique, especially on days where I'm pressed for time.

I hate it when you get mascara in the eye and it touches your contacts. You've got a black spot for a few hours 🤦. Before anyone says, "why don't you take it out and clean it", I do, but it's still cloudy for a bit, ha. 💗
Love this and going to be trying it. I have older hooded, crepy lids and so hard to get a good look without it being a big jumbled mess. Using four fingers to hold up skin, hahaha.

Tiffany Blue Tarot yes as long as your eyes are not downturned if you have a slight downturn shift you will just need to take the first arm of the actual V and just lift it up a little bit higher almost make a 7 shape rather then type shape! I describe it in my tutorials but it’s hard to really explain it here

Steph M nothing to be embarrassed about! Many women I know haven’t touched makeup by the end of their 30’s and have no plans to do so- it’s just personal preference and if you’re interested now, great! It’s a fun little world to experiment in 🤗🤗🤗

Could you do an idiots guide to applying blush? im talking clear boundaries, lines drawn on the face, face shapes taken into consideration, etc. I still cant apply it in one go! I have to apply it, blend it, and then correct placement with powder foundation.

I have very deep set eyes and I notice if I keep the darkness in the socket and don't bring it up higher then it just makes my eyes more deep set. By going up higher is that the correct thing to do on deep set eyes?

Sephora has a deep set eye tutorial that was very helpful for me. I always hate doing a smoky eye. Makes look like I was punched. Lol. Will definitely be trying this out.

piggyrush maybe try to put your brown bone color right after your base, then do the crease? Like literally do just a tiny thin line of your brow highlight so the rest of the transition and crease shade is like right below it?
