literally the best decluttering video I've ever seen - and I've seen a lot. This is what I want, I don't want a time lapse, I want 2 hours of detailed backstory on every item. Also as a fellow victim of emotional attachment to inanimate objects, I'm about to use that photo hack so hard.

I have literally been decluttering this past week. It's so freeing, and everything looks clean and space for things I actually love. I went room by room, and I'm still not done .

Okay, 1, that green halter top is SSOOOOOOO cute on you. 2, for pilled clothes, buy a depiller. They extend the life of your clothes. Use it on wool or cashmere especially. 3, i love that you kept some items for special moments like going to the bar because that's so real. 4, i also feel restricted in tees now. Tank tops for the win!

Literally the moment the summer solstice passes I get bit with the purging bug. I’m on a mission to get rid of things we don’t use. Not a minimalist by any means, but I just don’t need drawers full of mail, Allen wrenches from ikea, and clothes I haven’t put on in years. Thank you for the motivation!

I have been decluttering my whole house also and watching youtube videos so this came in at the perfect time!
I’m home sick from work today and settling in with a pot of tea to enjoy this long video👏 in January I spent the month decluttering different parts of my apartment bit by bit and it was so freeing. Since it’s halfway through the year I think I need to revisit again so I love this video for motivation!

I just wanted to say thank you for this video. I’ve been dreading going through my closet for the last few weeks but I know it needed to happen simply because looking at it gave me paralysis when finding outfits so I would just wear the same things while neglecting new stuff I could wear. 🤗 hearing you say “this isn’t flattering on me” and simply getting rid of it for that reason helped me do the same as I was body doubling with you. As a plus size girly, I spent my childhood just taking what I could clothing wise because things never fit right so I’ve kept a lot of things I hate on me simply because I haven’t had much choice in my life for fashion. Thank you for inspiring me.

Thanks for going through each item. I loved learning about the stories and especially the pics of the items on. I went through my closet simultaneously and got rid of so much stuff too. I'm pretty good at decluttering my other possessions but clothes are different for me somehow. I'm afraid of changing moods and styles for my future self. I love clothes and never want to regret decluttering so I put it off but my closet started to overwhelm me. Your video came at the perfect time!

If you have pilled sweaters or t-shirts that you want to keep, I would HIGHLY recommend getting a sweater shaver! They’re super affordable, and it’s an easy way of keeping your knits looking fresh and new, plus it’s soo satisfying to shave off all the little pills haha

Also, if you have clothes that have bad pilling you can buy little clothes shavers that get rid of it! I got one from Steamery and honestly it's helped me keep clothes in rotation for so much longer.

I did a lot of spot the difference puzzles and coloring when my mental health was at its worst and I was in and out of the hospital. It was so nice to have something to do that I could just use to fill my time while recovering. Now I have a million partially used coloring books. Wish I could think of a place to give them to!

I rarely ever finish books in the summer! When dividing the list of books for the year, I only put one/two a month in May, June and July. I figure I can at least listen to one/two audio books while driving on our roadtrips. Haha. Books are a definite fall/winter and some in spring hobby!

It's so helpful for me. It gives me so much motivation.
I just love decluttering and reorganizing things. A couple days ago I went through my closet while watching an other youtuber who cleaned out her closed. And I finally got rid of items I like but NEVER wear. I now think to know what is missing in my closet, and it is plain colored nice fitting tshirts. I have a lot of prints, skirts with prints and top with prints. And that makes is difficult to put an outfit together. So there are a few colors I would want and then I hope I am satisfied with my closet.
Thank you for reminding me that I need to declutter my closet. I started it but then got too overwhelmed. I just need to get it done. Also thanks for this long video ❤ I feel spoiled
