This video was shot in September, which is the season with the most algae on the beach, but in winter (November - April) there is usually much less of it
Beware!!! This resort looks beautiful. The service and customer care is lacking. If you want a nice room, okay food, random kinds of alcohol, and have a "do it yourself" mentality, then this is a decent place. If you get sick, go to the hospital in the capital, not the one in Punta Cana.
This looks like an amazing resort. We are considering booking it but I have hesitation due to the beach not appearing to be great swimming. Since we are looking at summer it seems risky.
Yes, summer might not be the best time to swim in the sea. I suggest to check directly with the hotel how's the situation this year and how many times per they they clean the beach.
As a Dominican born and raised there I will recommend u go to another’s city is not only punta cana!😩.. we have beautiful and really clear beaches around the country!

Macao beach is my favorite in Punta Cana and the clearest.

We stayed there in December… not as impressive as all the reviews claim. The spa was nice, very overpriced.
You don't have to pay for cabanas st the Finest, Excellence or El Carmen
