I have a Maltese that my wife and I found in our home after we came home from grocery shopping. We already had three basset hounds at that time. Someone probably had placed him in our back yard by dropping him over the fence, so we just kept him after we asked around the neighborhood if anyone knew where he belonged. That was 9 years ago and he is about 13 years old now. His name is Jack. Best dog ever.

We found a chihuahua near our house once too. Posted on NextDoor about him and waited a few days for replies but nothing. We decided to keep him and took him to vet where they told us he had a chip. We called number told them about him and took him to them. Turns out they lived one street over. He'd run off the day before. She then said she was actually a foster doggy mom and took some dogs in until they could go to a Furever home. She asked if we were interested. We said yes, she gave us his records and 6 years later Rudy is living his best life ever and we are so happy he came into our lives.

My dog has some past trauma but she’s my strong baby girl. She is well behaved and doesn’t complain.

I could have watched her bathe that adorable little thing for hours. I would literally watch that part on loop all day long and it would be the best day ever!!
I love how sweet and gentle she is with the animals she’s grooming. I’d pay extra just to know the person grooming my dog treats my dog like her own. The extra time and patience while massaging her bitty little head and trimming her bitty little puppy floof… it shows so much that it isn’t just a client or job or paycheck. She really loves animals and I adore her for that. ❤️❤️❤️
I was thinking exactly the same. The groomer was so gentle with the pup and was showering love in all possible ways. I love Maltese breed and to see this video was so lovely. No wonder the pup fell asleep. ❤️❤️❤️

I love that she got to play before her cut. That way she will always associate the groomer with a fun place. And that hair cut. The groomer was so gentle and calm, no wonder she fell asleep!!!

I am always thinking, why turtles has to leave so long instead of dogs and cats.
Reminds me of my maltipoo. She was 15 too. She was my best friend. Still is. She lived 15 wonderful years as well. I’m truly glad you were blessed with such a friend. I often tell myself that the reason dogs live such short lives is because God needs them back right away.
I had to put my bichon down three weeks ago. Only 8. I miss that little guy. My best friend was taken way too soon. Watching this video helps.

Lost my maltese one month shy of 13. I remember all the grooming I did myself. Let his hair grow full length and would give him a top knot. I still cry when I see his videos and pictures. Ive rescued 2 new babies though!

After all that playing, gentle massage washing, big towel drying and air fluffing, easy trimming, and loving handling, of course a puppy needs a nap! He was handled so delicately but securely he felt very safe, I'm sure. Wonderful experience. This groomer is outstanding in my book. Thank you.

I'm sorry for your loss. My dog passed away 5 Montes ago, and I miss him soooo much. I rescued him and him for 8 years. Now my house feels so lonely. He used to follow me all around the house, always sitting or laying around just watching me. Sometimes I think I even hear his breathing.
That was a combination of a bath and a massage. No wonder the puppy fell asleep, I will fall asleep too!😍
The acepromazine has something to do with it as well.

I get where this pup is coming from. This is pretty much me every time I go to the hairdresser and they wash my hair. The warm water and scalp massage is sooooooo relaxing.

We just lost our 14-year-old Maltese a couple of weeks ago after a jarringly short illness. The dogs of this little breed have so much character and individuality, they become a part of you so thoroughly. Your video makes me feel a little better. Thank you.
I'm still healing after losing my two, but it's almost time again. it's been 29 months since I lost my boy after 17 1/2 years. I'd rather have lost an arm or leg.
@@AndyViant same here I lost my comfort and joy when I lost my Maltese at 14 years old. I just can’t get another dog because nothing compared to her., but I love maltases so much. They are very smart.. mine was born deaf, but I told her to go into a litter box within one week. 🥰

You were so kind, gentle, and thoughtful with the puppy! Most groomers just do whatever gets the work done in the least amount of time, like they are cleaning a kitchen floor rather than working with a living creature. They don't hurt the animal but they certainly don't give much (if any) time to being overtly kind or loving to them either.
Then why does anyone use these wrong people???
I feel like I have watched this little pup get groomed at least 1000 times. He is just too precious. I would love some follow ups on some of our youngest stars to see how they turn out after a year or two.

It has to be clean. Notice they do not wear outside shoes in the salon? This was in Japan. I hope when I get a pup that the groomers are this way for the pup.
