My little brother from another mother turned me on to this song. We were sitting in my woods on a beautiful morning, blue sky with high clouds. He gave me his headphones and cranked this tune. Not long after that he died of cancer, but this song and his memory are forever tied together. Great memory.
I can't believe how fabulous the guitar is on this song. I love the Robinson brothers. Wish I could just be a little spider living in the corner of Rich's house so I could listen to him play any time he felt like it.
The brothers dig deep on this gem! I hope they're back out on the road again soon.

One of mine as well--first time I heard was in Memphis in 01 a few days before Lions was released--Ballad in Urgency into Wiser Time, Soul Singing, My Morning Song--maybe the 4 best in a row I have ever seen--45 min of heaven
This might be my favorite Crowes song, fuckin love Soul Singing. Their Brothers of a Feather stuff is just an awesome addition to their body of work.
