- Police arrested a 13-year-old boy accused of stealing a woman's purse and assaulting her at a West Seattle pharmacy. The incident was captured on surveillance video. Neighbors are concerned about the rise in teen violence.

For real if she was black, it definitely would be a hate crime charge but since she is not black and the system is twisted, that kid will probably just get a slap on the wrist.

Lower the age for adult prison to 12 years old. then this will stop. These juveniles are getting off because of their age. These are not teenagers. These are criminals wanting to go to jail.

I think there was a study (by Putnam, i think) a while ago that looked at the DOWNSIDE of diversity. No one, especially not in liberal seattle, talks about the downside or cons of diversity. EVERYTHING has a con. not to mention, add in the obvious visual wealth disparity in seattle and what do you get? you dont have to have diversity to "prove" that you are not racist. forced diversity is not natural. its natural that people will congregate with their own. its NATURAL ppl.

As a Person of diversity, I can agree that social practices taught in school in my youth are not the same today. This is mainly the cause of more disrespectful kids being raised in a manner that goes against a range of different things. One is to respect your elders no matter their ethnic background. However, all you see on social media are Race Cards drawn, bullying, and other sorts of gruesome behavior. That kid obviously does not have a father or does, and there is no accountability for the teen's behavior. Now, as far as I know, Seattle is pretty strict on Robbery offenses, that is at least 10 years mandatory; the teen that attacked that innocent woman will be 23 years old if he makes it through the Juvenile Justice System as well as the Correctional once he's transferred. ⚖CJA⚖
Not for long as they are getting rid of juvenile detention centers in Seattle.
Substitute teaching should be like jury duty.

The woman was foolish to get involved. If she would of minded her own business, these hoodlums would of just shoplifted what they wanted and walked right past her! Besides, isn’t there a law in Seattle, you can’t prosecute minors as adults and it’s just a misdemeanor under $1,000.00. So, what was the point in getting involved? Was she trying to save money for the pharmacy? The police can’t do much and the politicians run the town the way they see fit. These kids weren’t even robbing her! So, the next time you’re in a store that’s getting robbed, keep your month shut and blend into the furniture. These guys want to get in and get out. When a do-gooder starts in with lecturing them, it gets them very mad. She got punched in the face for her troubles. Look at New Yorkers! They don’t get involved. They won’t make statements to the police and have to go to court to testify two months from now. How do you know if the person isn’t mobbed-up? Hear no evil, see no evil and speak no evil! Minding your own business is great advice, especially these days! Silence is Golden!
