Sorry about the confusion surrounding some of the starters..
For some Pokemon we had the idea mixed up in our heads. I really apologize for the confusion and I totally understand if you're frustrated. If we do this video again, it will be executed properly. I'm sorry!
It happens! The concept was really fun and I'd love to see this again, just a little more structured. It always feel frustrating to mess up some of them, but since these are just meant to be casual, silly battles anyway, it really didn't bother me.
I was a bit worried that it was going to be "Doesn't evolve" on almost choice, so changing the rules was a very good idea.
I would go with what stage it is and the surrounding evolutions.
-Middle stage (what it evolves from and will evolve with)
-first stage- what it evolves with
-Last stage -what it evolves from

I think Rich confused his own premise. Idk how frigibax and applin dont evolve but then proceeds to say applin evolves with items.
Applin evolves with the apples tho, don't they? The bax line should be level up only.

Alternative title: pick a random way to describe one of the line of pokemon's evolution method and say that - then we battle
It’s a good premise for a starter video, but definitely needs reworked and rehearsed. Don’t say base stages don’t evolve, just give them the one evolution method they use, or one of multiple, IE Applin with Tart Apple, Eevee with friendship, etc. Also saying multiple evolutions in the line can potentially sway towards starters, so I’d just stick to that exact forms evolution.

This already failed to work on the very first choice. One fully evolved Pokémon is listed as what its last evolution took, the other one is listed as does not evolve from this stage.
1:42 to be fair that was best option on Tobin screen and that’s saying something
Oricorio learns Quiver Dance now and has been a HUGE pain in lower tiers, particularly because of Tera. Tera allows it to change the type of Revolution Dance and always gives it STAB, and anything with Quiver Dance always has a chance to just win the game on the spot.
The Electric Oricorio is banned from the tier that Goodra is in, and THAT'S saying something about how good Oricorio is now.
I have NO idea why Tobin thinks it needs its ability to be good. It's ability is often pretty useless unless your opponent is also using Quiver Dance.
I love Luxray, but he is SO Bad.
Its ability is trash in singles tbh,so idk why he says it needs its ability to be good

I think I didn't get the premise, why some fully evolved pokémon they say how to get to it and other they say it doesn't evolve?
This is so weird. It seems they are saying how they evolved into their current form and not if they evolve in general. So like Frigibax was told he doesn't evolve because he is a first stage pokemon, nothing evolves into him. Where as Salazal evolves from Salandit so you would tell them how. It is honestly just not good execution imo, this is very confusing.
