Unilateral Total Body Workout with Super Sets | Boomer and Beyond Wellness with Angela Fischetti

  • A couple of my injuries, one from childhood, & one recent, were the muse for this workout. It's important to look for what we CAN do during challenging times.
    The entire routine, 10 exercises, is executed vertically, without added resistance. This is to encourage those new to exercise or strength training & for those with chronic concerns. We move into Super Sets with 5 blocks of 2 exercises each, done back-to-back, without rest.

    FIRST! SUGGESTED PRACTICES AT-A-GLANCE
    1 - Before exercising to any video, please show the video to the medical healthcare practitioner who best knows your medications & your body to help you make an informed decision about exercising & what equipment to use during exercise.
    2 - Make sure your workout space is well-lit, free of clutter, & of a comfortable temperature.
    3 - Make sure your workout equipment is safe, i.e. use chairs without wheels & exercise on a hard, flat surface -- no throw rugs.
    4 - Do not eatfor 2-3 hours before exercise.
    5 - Stay hydrated during workouts unless you have kidney or bladder issues.
    6 - Always wear closed-toed shoes, preferably sneakers or aqua shoes.
    7 - Always follow suggested modifications.
    8 - Exercise equipment is suggested but not required to safely execute each workout.
