    Brilliant video again .
    Jamie puts the info so easy so I understand and I'm guilty of putting to much and knackering my peg but I'm getting better and my results from last season proves it

    A great watch Jamie, something that gets overlooked a bit nowadays, but can be devastating. I need to watch the ammount I feed,I'm an Andy feeder.

    Yet another very good teaching video!
    I wonder if when these videos were made, did anyone consider how helpful they would be to anyone who was ill and stuck at home or in hospital etc. They would give them something to look forward to.
    They certainly do help me stay positive and look forward.
    Stay safe,stay at home. We will all be out again one day.

    Quality video Jamie, as ever. In what situation would you have used corn on a hair rig as opposed to a hooked kernel?

    Great video...have kept me going through Lockdown (even though I'm a key worker). How about when all this is over you & Andy do a series where you take a total newbie to match angling & see who can create the ultimate champ...I've been thinking of fishing my first match for a while (after fishing for 20 years +) but by no means class myself as a decent angler.

    Hi mate, what size hooks are you using for sweetcorn? 🐟

    I LOVE your videos and tutorials. I have been trying some pellet fishing in the USA(last Sunday) without to much success. I used betane pellets by Cmoore. I am curious what kinda pellets you use in your videos? I noticed you like corn even when you feed pellets. I kinda tried several different baits krill pellets, betane boilies, corn and Go2 pellets. Maybe I was fishing on the wrong day and in the wrong spot. Neither my buddy nor me had any luck at all. 5 hours and no bite whatsoever.
    Anyway. Keep up the good work. Loving it!

    • @WinningWays
      @WinningWays  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Rob,
      The pellets we use are often just known as 'carp pellets' so you mention the GO2 range, which Jamie tends to use a lot (Catalyst flavour) from Spotted Fin. Either 4mm or 6mm size.
      The big difference I would guess is the stock of venues, a lot of the commercial match venues here will have a lot more fish per acre than a more natural water.
      If you have fished for that long with no bites, I'd say that there wasn't a lot in the area, it doesn't sound like you were doing too much wrong bait wise. So hopefully you'll get more luck next time :)

    lovely video ive just got into pole fishing my biggest question is the float to shot weight so (exp) if i use at 4x12 float its says on the graph its uses 5x no 10s but when use them like how its say the float bristle and some of the body is out of the water. so what i do is then add a few more shots to make just the bristle show but then what is the point in having a graph thats saying 5x no 10 shots if it dosent work and other videos am i missing something here or am i just thick.

    • @WinningWays
      @WinningWays  Před 3 lety +1

      Floats can vary and so can shot between manafacturers. So take it as more of a guide, then find out what works for each of the floats you use and make a note of it.
      If you are finding that you've got floats which are meant to be the same but take vasty different amounts of shots, I'd probably look at changing to something more reliable.

      Thanks for the message, always humbling to hear things like this! This was never the intention, just a happy side effect :) We get all sorts of messages from people who are in hospital, stuck at home (every at the moment!) or going through a tough time for whatever reason.
      If we are helping people in whatever way it may be, then it gives us even more reason to carry on with making them.
      Wishing you good health and hopefully you will be back on the bank soon!

    Jamie - "I wouldn't be sure how much grains of corn the fish will eat before getting full up"
    If were taking carp mate a 5lb fish will much a whole can to itself, I don't think you can really over feed the fish however if you over bait you could be costing yourself bites with there being too many free offerings. Thats how I see it.
