I remember 4 years ago when I thought I was ready for marriage, hahaha I laugh to myself now. I started following Pastor M and yourself about 3 years ago and I have to say I have learnt a lot and realise why God has made me wait, He truly wanted me to work on myself. Follow the word of God and not people's idea about marriage. ✅
Wish I would get put of this emotionally abusive marriage and be blessed with a real marriage I will grown in and remain in by God's grace
Types of marriages.
Blissful: fun and forgiveness. Here everything is done with love. Don't run marriage by culture but by scripture
Bland: functionality and appearance. They are good at faking appearances. Children suffer the most in a bad marriage. Things are done by law e.g 50/50
Bad: There are fights and friction. There is competition and fights. Operates by separation. There are no rules. Lawless.
If we are good Christians, we'll do marriage easily. If you forgive people, it will be easy to forgive your spouse. Service before marriage makes it easy to serve your spouse 😊
Most marriages that are blissful is because they are quick to forgive. It’s simply forgiveness

You are right but l think one type some how must dominate and if that which dominates is not blissful then the work can then begin so that bliss becomes the nature of the marriage

If part of the marriage is already blissful, then there are possibilities it could easily navigate towards blissful and there be maintained.
I suggest you get the book PK mentioned, pray and ask Holy Spirit to touch your husband to read it. Get a book from Ps K's collection about how to get your husband's attention and affection and let him also know you're on this journey with him.
I believe you'll begin to notice the difference not long after as you apply PK's teachings
