I freely give of my time and energy because it's who I am. I know exactly what I'm doing when I do it. People don't realize how hurtful this behavior actually is...they didn't get away with anything. They did effectively push me all the way away. I did try because I saw something in this person, but I cannot make them be the person I see that they could be.

You know I love your work...it really bothers me that so many people watching have experienced this storyline...some day I'll tell you my version of it. People CAN do better than this, on both sides of the story. No need to be mean-spirited and hateful. No need to take mistreatment from others. I have the Ruby Rule: Treat yourself the way you want others to treat you (i.e., love your Self). Model what's acceptable by not taking disrespect and harm from anyone. You will NEVER regret stopping someone from being hurtful. The Dalai Lama says tell folks when they're being an ass, so they can change and stop accumulating Bad Karma (nod to Warren Zevon and the Hindu Love Gods, aka R.E.M. sans Mr. Stipe!). You're actually doing them a favor!

Exactly right! I gave my heart and soul unconditionally to the Leo and he all of a sudden ghosted me after over 5yrs with no explanation about a year ago. It left me very distraught and emotionally wounded and confused and devastated. I gave to him not just physically but I stroked his ego big time. I really hope that the memories are killing him emotionally like they are me. As I write this I'm crying and keep wiping my tears so I can see my screen. I'm still not over this and keep hoping that he will reach out and apologize for his abrupt behavior when he gets the confidence and courage cuz I'm sure he feels regrets and bad for actions but who knows. Maybe he has no remorse at all considering his bigggg ego. But he will never find anyone like me again that would put up with his ghosting all the time and his workaholic nature. That's his priority making money money and more money! Everything else is on the back burner until he has time. I taught him how to love again and that love could be a beautiful thing after he had past bad relationships. He said he wasn't good with relationships and I tried to assure him that not all relationships turn out bad. He said it was in his DNA which I told him was BS that it's only what you make of it that you don't have to follow in your dad's footsteps. It's all in his head and unfortunately I think he really believes that. He always seemed to need reassuring that I loved him. Obviously stems from his own insecurities but I never gave him any reason to doubt my love. I constantly told him more then he told me. Love your readings Kate. He was just here. He actually brought it up that he was used to me calling him all the time and now I'm not. So, he reflected on that and decided he should start calling me now. He said it'd been too long since he saw me, since it had been a month. We, um, had some fun and then he fell asleep after we talked and I sang a song. I let him sleep and woke him up gently. He thought he was only asleep for 5 minutes, but it was like 25 minutes. Lol He's never been as intimate with me as he was today. I swear you always read my story either the day before, day of, or day after the events.
Told him yesterday it was all take take take and I am moving on. Actually moving to another city. All with love and kindness but the fan is off for him :)
